    I suggest using more shading on the red. Also its looks kind of basic try to add more colors. You have time anyway Nbk is long away from 10k hours.

    Not just recolor, shade it try to not use pillow shading if you know what that is. Here is a link it helps you with your pixel art such as shading, AA, Dithering, Banding, and etc..

    Try looking at other items look how they shaded it ,and try to implement that when editing things. Also when shading try to imagine the sun is above the item and manipulate it. To were its darker on the side farthest from the sun(imaginary) and on the side that is light imagine that is close to the sun(imaginary)
