Who do you think you really are? (vent/question post)

As being a player of Era for a few years, I have observed the many different personalities of individual players and what always came to my mind was,
Is this how they actually act in real life?
Personally, my online persona was always on point with how I acted in real life.
Loud, obnoxious, funny, and rude.
I was a jerk in real life and a jerk in-game. I was always loud on the outside but I suppose I always felt like a loner.
I think the thing that bothered me most was that people would say
"You're just sad because the only friends you have are online." Which in some ways are true, but in others ways are completely false.
I had a lot of friends in real life but did I truly give a care about them? Lol no. I always had a feeling of loneliness because no one could ever meet my standards as a friend. (There was one girl who was my true best friend, but I ended falling for her and things got crazy.)
ANYWAYS, to much venting lol my question to you is,
Who are you in real life compared to your Era persona?

Exactly the same. Mature sometimes, crazy sometimes. A real nerd about military stuff. Even my character looks like my cartoon self.

In real life, I'm very similar to how I am in era. Friendless, lonely, doesn't talk much, rarely does anything productive. Except, I'm more productive in era than in real life. In terms of earning money, etc.

Which is why the internet is so great. It gives shy people a voice, I love it.
I'm not shy but I have friends who are.
