Double saber speed...

Seriously why is the double saber speed worse than a 20 ec melee?... Hunter knife is 9 damage, costs 20 ec, and is faster than the double saber. You may say its because it has a block? Ok it has a damned block which js completely pointless. I would trade my block for a normal speed because the block is either slower way to die or a risk to die immediately. Even the normal saber is better than the dual one when the price is 25 ec lower... I don't understand this logic

I was told it has same stats as regular saber but the ganis are too long.... If that's the case make it the same stats as drag swords it will cancel out and the speed would go to a katana speed?
