3 rocks is max. Like there are losses also for example. You inserted 3 rocks and gave you 2 minerals. I wish there's also a chance for more minerals.

3 rocks isnt max.. 10 is max when u hit lvl 24. the amount u grind goes up until u hit lvl 24 then it stops at grinding 10 at a time.

Glad to see more updates to mining! Even if I only mine for minerals to repair my weapons, I think if there were new achievements, this would be definitely something I would go back to!
