Animal Customs Illegal?

I don't see the point in custom rules. The way I see it, let the Era community be creative, if it's not copy righted, innapropriate, or invisible of some sort. I don't see any problem with having an animal head, or weird things people like making.

I'm not complaining, this is just how I feel about it.

Agreed. Plenty of things in Era do not go with the theme. Tightening rules more due to personal opinions versus legit server reasons is just going to make the community which is already edgy, even more unhappy.

Lay just told me the custom rules are being re looked at in entirety and will be posted/refreshed within the next week. Please be patient as this is worked through, I am sure he will review these threads and consider your opinions as much as possible.

The fact that you cannot use vulgarity in this game knocks its theme a hell of a lot more than animal customs...

Of course the staff regards this thread as a flame war while completely ignoring the feedback given here. We can also expect favoritism to help a certain admin keep his head, one which would technically be "illegal" under this new rule.

They need to add new content to this game. Playing Era nowadays is like reading the same book or watching the same movie hundreds of times.

If I didn't love this game like I do, I wouldn't give a damn about what's happening to it. I have great respect for this game even in its current state. One of the best things that can happen to this game is for the staff to start listening to the players. I'm not talking about the ones on Era-Go, I mean ALL the players.

To be frank, the feedback needs to come from players that are in-game, not these forums. Most of the people on Era-Go, including me, are at a later stage in this game. A voting system for new ideas with a small Gralat reward would be a step in the right direction.

I'm fine with this change, but all animals and everyone should be accounted for the rule and get there customs deleted. That includes admins.

When my head got refunded 2 years ago, I got a 100% refund (20k) since it was blinking. So when your head gets refunded by a staff, just upload another?

I suppose it's a flame war between staff and players, with players really handing it to the staff, even though most of the staff don't know of this thread, and if so; would be flamed apon, as Anero was.

What a dumb rule. Even if there is animal heads in custom packs, players won't really get a chance anymore to express their creativity or personality with colourful and cool looking customs. Like I was hoping of making a werewolf custom for halloween one day or something like that but I guess not anymore. Why are cats only available now lol? Because they're the most popular things on iEra? Bs.

I suppose this means no half-human/half-animal customs anymore as well?

No seriously, what is the real reason this rule was set into place? We've had animal customs in the head packs for five whole damn years.
