Thread: Gang Changes

    Keep the thread alive cause snk is back from vacation now so keep posting ideas.

    Stuff that I found useful reading the thread:

    - give black water their hours
    - send a confirmation email to gang leaders so that gangs could be transferred
    - make gang melee a reward,
    - additional hideout rooms
    - gang melee
    - powers to give powers

    I agree to all the points that's been listed. There is a lot of good ideas in this thread.

    How about a secret hideout ON the map?
    Maybe a better pay on basing per every 30 minutes. Only players who were on at 0:00 to 00 will be payed.
    Gang car
    How about a gang body/head?
    Perks to keep rising their empire as an option of adding 5-10 more members in their gang. Instead of 30, there can be a max of 40.

    Aren't hideouts already on the map technically? At least their entrances are....

    Base pay needs to be standardized and improved regardless of it being a gang reward. Gangs should be rewarded for the amount of defending they do in base instead of whatever weird system they have right now that favors Mafia heavily for some reason. If a good formula is created, then maybe there can be a gang reward to scale pay to be even better.

    Cars aren't used that much. It'd be a low level reward if anything. Unless they're open for public sale and gangs receive revenue like in base. Then, leaders can dictate who gets paid from gang merchandise. That'd be cool. Also, this idea paves a way for commercializing(?) gang names lol

    Bodies and heads aren't special because anyone can upload them. Hats and skins are special because gang rewards are the only way to get them added in game.

    The thing that bothers me about increased caps is that big/successful gangs will only get bigger. If rewards are still given only by base hours, the power of a gang would increase with little consequence and smaller startups would have an even harder time finding success.




    Puzzle Pirates has an interesting pay system. Crews (gangs) can choose how to distribute their pay between the ranks and temp "jobbers" by dictating how many shares of the pot each rank gets. If Era's ranks are improved I'd like to recommend a similar system. One issue though is that in the span of Puzzle Pirates, the community has shifted to making pay favor temporary jobbers, promoting temp gangs instead of gang loyalty. To counteract this, I would just add only pay splits favoring ranked members. I wouldn't even consider adding even splits because gang loyalty should be rewarded accordingly.

    Shouldn't all members that are basing receive the gralats because they are all contributing to holding the base? Though I do like the idea you showed.

    Temporary gang bodies only after 4k would be a good idea.
    Maybe start adding skins to melees? After 4k as well.
    This may not be a reward but I think the amount of money you get from holding a base should get buffed most bases do not get an income at all but I think if you buffed this it would bring many more players together to make gangs and fight against major gangs to earn money in general.
    Maybe at 6k a gang shop available for all the players in era, they would be able to enter the gangs hideout and purchase gang merchandise maybe to support or just to rock? Would include furniture and hats, (though I think this would ruin rewards but just an idea maybe sell something like signs or something) or Maybe this could be a higher rewards like after 15k since there are no more hats and it wouldnt matter.

    Make forts in every base and u know which base i mean
    Also make somthing atleast usefull,for the base gang gas mask.
    Hidout/subway/gang hats are they usefull for a baser? No and no use of them in the base

    In my opionion each gang reward should be available for the whole gang, so at least for the gang's basis which means ~15 ranked members in most of the guilds.
