Say you make a mario costume without the "m" on the hat, it wouldn't be copyright but era wouldn't even accept it.

I was thinking of making a footballer body with fake sponsor logos on it.

That's totally ok. It'll get accepted as long as it doesn't break anymore rules.

I don't think it'll be bad.
We have a Superbowl shop and it has all the logos of the teams that were playing hence I think it's legal.

That's not against the rules no, your own logos etc on a football body is cool
