I don't trust the man, but I respect him for having the stimulus package for being able to get up there and do what he does, regardless of our political differences. Although, I wouldn't say he is IN ISIL, but he simply doesn't want to be politically incorrect by being against them since they're a Muslim organization. Yes, they are a Muslim organization. ISIS/ISIL stands for "The Islamic State in Syria". I have NOTHING against other religions, but it must be acknowledged that ISIS isn't a nonreligious group. I know that the majority of Muslims are good people. Same goes for Christians, Jewish people, Atheists, etc.

If we use Article 1, Section 8 ("The Congress shall have power . . . (T)o declare war, grant letters of marque and reprisal, and make rules concerning captures on land and water"), to our advantage, then the Congress can override Obama and vote to wage/declare war upon ISIL. I think we should consider it. I just, however, don't want total nuclear war to break out anywhere. Peace is always the best option, but war is our only option at this time.

Bombs aren't the answer to this 'war on terror'. you can't bomb an extremist ideology, it's an idea - not tangible. I'm not saying kill ISIS with hugs but it's useless to keep air striking, especially when the western world then complains about how many refugees we have to house, forgetting that we are the reason that they seek refuge in the first place. there's no clear cut answer to win this war, and that's what makes it so complicated.

as for WW3, it's unlikely, I don't see the Middle East rising an army as powerful as that of Germany's in the previous world wars. If a WW3 is going to happen, it's the west versus China/Russia/both
