Just discourage people from using it, its not making the gun unusable, you guys are flipping out about a small change that would help gameplay a lot. I think that just proves how much you guys dont want this god gun to get a tiny nerf because you would stink without one when vs another bar. Also holy crap the time to kill nor bullets to kill would not change at all, it would just make the gun a lot harder to use and encourage more skill.
Anyone with skill can beat bars. They are not super OP and are worth their price. Discourage people from using it? It is expensive for a reason, it is a primary weapon.
Well no freakin **** there worth their price, it should be worth 300k. You all are so freakin scared, it would not be that bad if the bar freeze was put at a M16 freeze. It would still be a primary weapon, the M16 is a primary and people still use it and are good with it. So why cant the same be for a BAR? It would still be worth the price.
Why fix what isn't broken? You seem to be one of a very small minority who think there is a problem while most agree that it is ok. You seem to want to ruin the BAR but why? You claim that you want people to use skill but nerfing the bar wouldn't help that.
I'm not scared I rarely even use my bar so it wouldn't really affect me much but I honestly think it's balanced for 200k.
Holy **** read posts. This WILL NOT RUIN THE BAR IT WILL JUST MAKE IT A SMIDGE MORE DIFFICULT TO USE.
1. This would just make the game less freakin pay to win (everyone wants that) and actually give people a chance in a base before being molested by 4 bars.
2. Bar takes no skill at all to use, make it harder to use and it will actually take skill and if used correctly gains a huge *** benifit, unlike now where you just hold the button and you already get a huge benifit.
3. The P2Ks are the new most expensive weapons that only a couple of people can obtain and there worse than the bar. However if the P2Ks were buffed they would be incredibly overpowere, and we dont want that.
4. Bars are friggin everywhere, its just has gotten out of hand now. Its also making the game incredibly frustrating if you don't have a bar as your just going to get destroyed and pk is a bajillion times harder. So it forces the player with 3 options, spend all year doing jobs or get the credit card and buy a bar to compete with others, get abnormaly good with a 8 damage gun (and that takes a very very long time), or just quit and not waste your time being molested by bar users with mommys credit card.
5. Gangs can basicaly monopolize bases by having a bunch of bars. Take ebi for example, they have a monopoly on gangs, no one will be able to catch up to them. One of the reasons why is inside of those bajillion nub recruits theres a lot of bars in there. So its impossible to beat them without bars unless you have a abnormaly highly skilled and organized gangs (very very very very rare) or just overrun them with a bajillion noobs.
6. 1 bar provides the equivalent firepower of 3 M4s and are incredibly mobile with a freeze of .2
7. This bar nerf was done before as bars were getting out of hand, about Half of the bar users quit using the bar because they were being out manuvered. Basing was much much much more fun then. Now with a playerbase of 1,700 avg theres probally something like 400-600 bar users online per day.
8. No gun can compete with the bar. Not even the P2Ks can and they are waaaaaay more expensive than a bar.
9. It can shoot as fast as p2ks at full speed and you're saying its not OP?
It is not OP, read all the ****ing replies. Other guns compete with them and nerfing them would just make it pointless to own since having a cheap gun would be basically the same. Monopolize basing? Do you know what monopolize even means? Look at the scores and you will see many gangs gaining hours, not a monopoly. If it is noob armies bothering you then use skill to defeat them.
Greg is right, ebizou is nowhere close to a monopoly- I never see them base anymore (probably time zone differences, but still, monopoly implies they have all the bases 24/7).
I understand what you're saying about the bar being better than the p2ks, but nerfing the bar isn't the answer. You keep saying that buffing the p2ks would make them "super OP" but did you even consider a slight buff, not a major one? I don't have a bar, but even I (I suck at spar) can beat one with my AK74u. It is perfect the way it is.
If you still wanna complain, complain about the pbp- 16 damage with stacked bullets, high spread, high speed, and used (from what I've seen) more in bases than bars.
