Thread: Brussels Attack

There are two things to place the blame on in this situation:
    1. The European open-borders policies, which Euro citizens hate, yet the political elites love.
    2. The radical Islamic terrorist psychopaths who aim to destroy Western and Christian civilizations.

Horrible tragedy, no doubt, but it's also yet another wake-up call to leaders that they must actually begin to fight ISIS and eventually rid of them, and also to heavily improve upon the utterly stupid border policies that these countries adapt.

Hey, Gino. You should get into politics, I think you'd make a great world leader.
"'An old friend of ours dared me to try and play God...' Mak craned his neck, the advisors and guardsmen in his wake suddenly alert at their charge's blatant discontent.

He stood with a confidence we had never known him to possess, the bright orange trim of his ivory sleeves dangling so far from the scrawny arms folded behind his back that we thought the robe adorning his body might blow away completely in the winds that whipped around us.

'Little did they know I was born for the role.'"

Can't tell if that's sarcastic or not, but I wouldn't be interested in it solely because of the publicity that comes along with it. Back on-topic though

To be honest, I was very saddened to hear the news in Brussels, I was actually getting live updates when I was getting ready for school. To me this is as much of tragedy to the people of Belgium as it is to the Islamic population in Western Civilization. To be honest I truly feel as if the media tries to instill fear in us when it comes to Middle Eastern individuals. I mean at one point in time there was always a nation or group of people that were stereotyped and hated on i.e. The Russians, Germans, Japanese, Chinese, and now the next big group to fear is the Islamic people. I find it sad because in truth these extremists are being labled as Islamic terrorists when in fact the other 99% of Islamics in the world do not recognize them as such.

It brings such prejudice and hate towards one another, and it is sad to see people of any nationality religion or tone of skin suffer, in the end we are all people. However I want to also bring up the point that the "fight" against terrorism will only bring more conflict. The reason I say this is because unlike other enemies the world has faced, we are fighting an ideology, not a specific group of people. During WWII we knew who are enemies were because they were being led by a leader, and it was an entire nation. But as long as an ideology exists, there will never be an eradication of such thoughts. You can bomb and massacre as many people as you want, In the end the idea still remains, and as long as there is that idea, people will flock to it. This entire war thing has brought such tension in our lives no?

Seriously, after achieving "world domination", what is there to do? There's no beauty... On the other hand, terrorists and those kind of people don't see what we see. Death is what enriches their souls.

Oh man.. God, why can't you have them vanish from this world? These kind of events make me question if there really is a God.
There cannot be light without darkness

Anyways in my church we have classes with teachers that teach us about God
I forget but we had a lesson why God cant just make everything bad vanish
I wish I could explain it but i've forgotten

As stated before, if it isnt ISIS, it will be another group wishing to harm one another. As long as the vision remains, there will always be people who will be drawn to the idea, as dark and twisted as it might be. Its human nature however, we cant help it.
