There are a lot of scripters but they don't trust any of them.

Not sure why Anero is dealing with development when he is a PRA anyway.

Couldn't they ruin era if they hired untrusted people? It's better to teach "old" admins how to script

There are ways that a scripter can destroy a server, however, how in the hell is one supposed to be trusted if you never give someone a chance?

Give the scripter some tests to do, and from there on you hire him based off how he did.

-Get rid of the useless buildings and replace it with grass
-Add more dances
-Get admins that interact with players

so what do scripters really do?i mean i want to do scripting though i dont own a computer too, i wanna invest my time into scripting if it would be possible for me to learn. I always have nothing to do everyday.

You don't learn scripting in one week btw, takes many years to know how to really use programs

No, the scripter needs access to all the files, thus he can potentially delete all of them. Backups from my knowledge don't work either so that's not a solution.

I can script a little, AutoIT (close to Visual Basic?)is what I'm best at.

Why is that so?
All you need is to be good at logic and you're fine.
Theres many different languages with basic terminology and syntax.

It's not my thing. I only gani and I started to level and that's all i'm gonna do. Scripting is the last thing I would learn.
