The Zombie Apocalypse is the fun way to get people into prepparing for a disaster even the CDC did a thing on zombies. But to answer the OP question i have enough "supplies" to lock up our place for a year+ and to defend it for much much longer in any disaster scenario.
Starters you need year supply of shelf stable food and a water source then a minimum of a battle rifle and sidearm with 10k rounds for each and each person in your party. Could talk about this stuff for hours and hours.

I'm an octopus so fudge this! But if I were a human (pervert) I would try finding a group of 2-3 people including me to make sure I can keep my self sane. There's underground shelters for twisters so I would go in there. Then we would play 60 seconds irl but the only thing is different is that there is a zombie apocalypse. One day someone goes out comes back with items then we share our food etc. tbh it's not going to happen anyways.
