What if Perfect shape was removed?

Before the pitchforks are taken out i'm not saying this will happen/ haven't even brought it up with anyone I just wanted to create a discussion here. It would effectively mean all guns will do 1 less damage but still remain the same in terms of which guns are the most dominant etc.
would also mean guns that are currently above 10 damage will become slightly more effective (basically just snipers).

I personally think it would be pretty interesting and could rectify some balance issues, as the time to kill would be slightly higher which could create more room for skill play if everyone required one extra shot to kill someone than before.

Just need to add that there would still be gun conditions (perfect, good, rusty etc) just perfect would no longer grant the bonus 1 damage. So you'd still need to repair your gun, perfect shape would just mean you don't have to repair your gun for 3 or so weeks when it becomes rusty.

What would minerals be used for though? just money then.

No you don't as all gun descriptions stat the good shape of the weapon, not perfect. which is why bar states it's 9 damage when it does 10

Im personally against this change, if anything why not just nerf the guns that need nerfing like the Chem Gun for example rather than all other guns. My PBP Autorifle only does 6 damage, if you removed one damage it would be almost useless in terms of the firepower. That 1 damage makes all the difference, and that goes for every gun, which is why it would work in the favor of some weapons but not others.

How can you say one gun will be more worse off than the others when every gun faces the same chance?. Sure PBP auto rifle will. Be doing 5 damage, but the guns that are 7 damage will be doing 6, and the 8 damage guns 7 etc. so whilst you need one more bullet to kill someone, so does the person fighting against you

That's a terrible idea, if that's the case you should make guns refundable. A lot of players who actually use their weapons play in-game and don't use forums to communicate and speak their opinions on certain topics.

Guns are good just the way they are. Don't ruin it for everyone else.

You have failed to provide an actual reason as to why it's a bad idea and why that should warrant you to be eligible for a refund.
Just think about what you are saying. Even if we were to give a refund (HYPOTHETICALLY) what would you do with the gralats? Refund your BAR and then what? By an m4?

If all guns face the same change then their individual rankings on what is best etc doesn't change

What do you mean by 'one' description as if that is the only one that doesn't state perfect shape? No descriptions state the perfect shape damage except for the exotic weapons. So only 2 descriptions would need to be changed
