    Limit Chemical Guns

    I'd like to propose an idea in somewhat response to bitzsams perfect shape forum.

    I believe there should be a cap on chemical guns, so when we hit maybe 65-80, the weapon should be removed from the shop, making it un-buyable. Now don't get angry and say "oh, I was gonna start saving for it, you can't do this!!" Well, you've had over a year to save for it, here's my reasons...

    1.) Taking away the chemical gun from shops reduces its numbers which means a nerf won't be needed, when you get too much of something that's very powerful, it gets irritating for other players, and they end up complaining.

    2.) It'll keep it rare, the chemical gun is symbolized to show an elite player, who's earned many event coins and normally has a reputation, if you keep spewing out chemical guns, it'll become very common and won't have that same reputation as it had before

    3.) It will keep basing fair, having 5 chemical guns in a base isn't fun, and even more is just painful, keep basing to the main guns, and chemical should still be a little "bonus" for gangs, not a common tool

    And yes, even though I am extremely close to chemical gun, I still wanted to share my ideas and perhaps bitzsam will take notice

    I agree 2 many Chemical guns I don't want bitzsam 2 start nerfing I wonder many many players have Chemical guns right now I wonder if bitzsam can check

    Too late for that, there are already far too many added for limiting it to change anything. It's also unfair to limit it when people have been going for it for a long time. If an item is ever to be limited it would have to be done on release, something like that cannot be added when the item has been out for so long.
    You said in your thread yourself Xur that you are close to it, are you saying you wouldn't feel cheated if I removed it tomorrow if as you say you were so close to it?

    For what the chem gun is, 60-85 people is far too many. If a cap was added it would have been 30 max

    If you did remove it I would understand due to the reasons I stated, but yet again I still would like it, I say when too many people get it you might as well just nerf it, but don't nerf it to a major extent, it still needs to live up to its 200 ec value

    Do you know how hard 200 ec is to get.

    And now you want to limit it to make sure it dosnt get nerfed?

    You seriously think that the streets of era will be filled with chems

    If/ When Chem gun is nerfed i've decided the change that will be made is removing the reload and replacing it with recharging ammo.

    That way you keep the guns stats as it is just it removes the ability for basers to camp door ways spamming it. They can still do that if they want just they can only do it at certain times to save their ammo as if they just sit and constantly spray at a door then their ammo will still be recharging when someone comes in to attack them.

    Maintains the ability to spam but reduces the overall bullet spam from the Chem gun. Personally I think a change like that will fix a lot of the issues the chem gun creates in basing whilst retaining its initial effectiveness against an attacker. You will still be able to use the gun as it currently is you just cant constantly spam bullet walls like before
