First Question: Era was made in 2002 by an unknown individual then bought and released to the public in 2012.
Second Question: You are correct, all of the admins you mentioned have resigned. They left due to personnel reasons.

Welcome. Lots of things changed since 2014.
A few are; uploading rules have become so restrictive you you can choose either being a human or a cat. Admin interactions in the game have become so miniscule that they'll ppace their doll and immidiately leave without bonding with the Era community. Speaking of communities, the Spar/Pking community have become twice as cancerous and the trading community is corrupted by kids who buy all their items with USD in turn making their egos hit the roof.

Also, more of the edgy kids have left Era and an increase of kids who use "Clout" and "Boonk" has appeared.
