    That’s what will happen, you’re right. They’ll sit around and wait cause nobody will beat gangs like Obsidian and Darkside. You said gun nerfs and that didn’t fix anything, if anything it dropped the player count from averaging 3000+ to around 2000. Basing won’t change, it’ll be the same gangs ruling the same bases, it’s been like that for years and nothing has changed it

    Guys the idea is literally golden I don't see how you aren't seeing the big thing here literally saying the gangs will just go back to sharing or the under 10k gangs will just hold the bases?? The idea is perfect cause it can be easily altered by removing bases and they wouldn't even hold because there might be some gangs who don't give a f about base hours they just want gang points

    Gangs are only powerful because of their subs. Some easy solutions are a healing timer where you can only heal after every 5 seconds (including valentine heal bomb spamming), if a gang holds multiple bases split the time to where it always gives he same 1 hour every 1 hour no matter how many bases they own, remove allies not taking damage for sure. Another big thing is how gang members can easily walk straight through doors. What it should be is that when they do go through base doors it should remain open on everyone’s screen for around 3 second and if they shoot the doors, it will take damage so people can’t flame/mini spam the doors so they can’t open.

    I see where Bitzsam is trying to get, “no more alliances”, “no more home basing”, but you’re kind of in a way making the basing system to a much more bigger stretch then it should be, why? the lack of scripters, you had the same problem with countryside, no one (scripters) has time to help you since they were busy scripting other stuff, knowing that Christmas is almost here the chances of that getting worked daily is going to be rough. Oh a easier method? Put a timer where it resets all bases where the same gang can’t get it, where they can’t get the bases around the one they had; resetting is every 1-2 hours. why is this method easier? because “gang alliances” will have a much more harder time sorting this.

    Gun nerf had nothing to do with player count decrease, it was already declining before then, and gun nerfs did make a chance which i've already expressed in the thread and not going to continue on here.

    You're looking at a very narrow point of view, Obsidian/ Darkside aren't 'god' gangs. I personally have even solo'd darkside and held the base with 2 random people for a few minutes before they called on their allies. Them being able to call for help is the only thing that allows them to maintain their numbers. In the gang fortress they won't be able to do that.

    Darkside won't be able to help Obsidian because they'll be trying to defend their own base, same for Obsidian. There will be too much competition for them to be able to 'help' each other so there won't be any alliances

    Lights out are a new gang who have a base. Nefarious are a new gang who are grinding to become big currently they base 4-5 hours a day. Bwwwc still grind out they dont want a home they want war all round they old asf but arguably new bdgfx are what year and a half old max they fought for where they are. The professionals were small until this year they have built up idk why people say new gangs dont have a chance. In the last 2 years gangs such as ifreeze, emperor, grim reapers, m2s, deadsec, navy, dark killers, exterior and mercy have all stopped basing. These were top gangs when they based top gangs do die out what butzsam wants rly is no one to be able to home just 1 base and base it out but theres nothing you can do to change that.

    You're correct on the last post, that was part of the staff discussion I forgot to add. We were going to change it back to how it used to be where you must grab the door to open it, not just run through it

    Dude this wont take as much scripting has you think they've already scripted some buildings to require 5 hours in case you haven't noticed and I like the idea you just are not seeing the point and the way it's going to change the game and make it more fun, NEW rewards, MORE wars, like wrf else could you want
