Those gangs worked hard to get to that point. Those who lost in the proccess can join them and get rewards.. What's the point of hats if every 2nd gang in iEra can have them?

Most of the problem with "new gangs" not being able to start out as quickly as they would like is due to their lack of skill plain and simple. Without the allying system that used to be in place, a gang can only have a max of 25 players fighting your gang for the base. If you have better leadership, and capitalize on their mistakes anyone can take a base. Sure 2017 this was a problem, because anyone who started a war wasn't only fighting the initial gang, but also their 5 allies. Since the allying system was removed, basing with new gangs is possible. Sure it might take a while to start, and your gang might not have the skill to last, but that's not the game's fault.

Lyk , I have no idea how the hell ur brain can't understand that your taxing system is terrible and will reduce the player numbers even further especially since a big portion of the game are pkers/basers, it will just discourage them even more with the fact that they have already been craped on alot already with the changes from the past.

Honestly tho there's no need for this much debate between u and blink over this as no one will probably ever bother coding it

    You're right.

Sounds like a lot of variables to script.

Hey, everyone, it's getting a tad toasty in here. Let's all take a minute to calm down and make sure we stay on topic instead of attacking each other's opinions. Everyone is allowed to have their own opinions, and there isn't any "right" or "wrong" opinions.

Completely ignoring any points made in Blink's and Lyk's argument as it was seriously one-sided, a good way to "revive" iEra is to simply make the world more interesting. But how does one make a world more interesting, you ask yourself as you reach for your keyboard but realize that I'm going to answer your question so you sit back and continue to read.

Well, it's pretty simple and it has been brought up before: add random events, mini-games, or FUN, NON-DRAGGING jobs to do.

Era is currently just a social game, completely relying on players interacting with other players to make the gameplay interesting, which is a big downside on players who prefer not to befriend too many people or just can't find anyone to befriend, which leads to them just placing down the game forever. Which leads to a loss of profit and the "death" of a game.

But, adding random events or things to do in the world THAT DOESN'T YOU INVOLVE CONTINUOUSLY PRESSING THE SAME PAIR OF BUTTONS TO MAKE A FREAKING PIZZA would certainly spike interest from players from all different walks of gaming. Basically, just make the world feel alive without the dependence of players to make that life. Makes sense?

But that's an obvious fix and it's something that's natively already being done >

Creativity should be embraced and brought to life, and I totally agree with what you said.

Another thing to note is that Era revolves around a genre (which is utterly flawed honestly), so adding too many things makes it seem out of place.

I think that everyone has something they'd like to see in Era that's 'outside of the box' and since it revolves around players doing everything, why not get the player's input?

    My apologies.

On a side note, does anyone know how to merge quotes on Tapatalk?

Usually it would auto merge when you post two messages in a row, but I don't think tapatalk does that. I think it would make you edit the post to get it all in one, but I know that's a hassle to type out quotes and stuff, so don't worry about merging it and one of us moderators can do it for you.

    Awesome, I appreciate that.

The interface on Tapatalk is weird and oddly simplistic compared to the web version, so I'm still trying to get the hand of things.

Yeah, don't worry about it. You also seem to be double quoting sometimes, which is kinda weird, but it isn't a huge issue.
