Old iEra.

I started around May 2011, not really an oldbie. I remember most of the old holiday events/quests. Definetly remember a time before ec existed (won kiwi and ac without ec)in the old events building, also agree that it was dumb glad they switched to ec. Miss when m4 was cheap (didn't start playing when it was free). Doing jobs seemed to bring faster money than now. Etc etc

I'm not sure if I have much to say, I joined around May/June 2012. But even then I saw at least a few changes here and there. One would be the addition of pz and the great base changes that happened afterwards. I remember tachi being defendable in the first room from the staircases. I think there was a giant wall that helped cut the room in half. Also single door doorways really helped with defending. Let's see what else...I think around march 2012 or so is when melees first became droppable, like clover and stuff but that was before me technically. When it game to gun variety all I remember for expensive guns were BARs, PBPs and M4s mostly. Oh and the souzien was the only auction gun around. Well then again I focused my time on basing so I didn't really see the sparring or PK'ing of era.

Nowadays there is a lot more gun variety...and a lot more BARs as opposed to M4s. Multi-shot weapons are also a lot more prevalent like dual maccus uzis, shipkas...whatevers else. The great base expansion update (when almost sll the bases changed) feels a little neccessary at this point where we have a constant playerbase of 2k or so. It was about half that when I started I think. They need somewhere to go other than just overworld PK and afk places..? But it is true it does favor large gangs over small ones.

Well I don't know where I'm going with all this but it's already typed up lol. I miss a bunch of people that played in 2012 along with me of course but there's always new people to meet. Times change and I'm open to it I guess. Guns could use a bit more balancing instead of just selling overpriced waves of death. Trade tables are cool, at the very least I wish for single item dropping to be back so minerals could be shared. Also unlimited ammo dropping so I can finally make 50k ammo stacks again.

It's cool hearing all these stories about 2011 iEra. Hope to see more lol

That first time snk announced about the new black umbrella in auctions.
Prices rose above 170k+ for it.
It's actually about remembering what was done in the old days where they did fun stuff and have more great inventions.
To me, 2013 is going overload with the new stuff.

No I meant event coins are stupid, I liked it better when they hosted for weapons. I remember WDM was awesome because he gave you WHATEVER you wanted, and he gave a price for 1st, 2nd & 3rd.

Oh didn't read it right, sorry. Guess we have different looks on event coins. The only reason I think it's better now is you need to work harder for it, so others will have a chance to earn ec and eventually get an ec item. I do miss getting them for free after winning events, but I prefer it this way now.

Well the reason I say jobs used to give more money is because I could make over 200 gralats per shovel easily in the past. Now I have a hard time getting to 150. So I feel like it's changed.

i hav to agree with mystic i started in 2011 and i can remember graal era teroust squad got their hideout and i remember pirate zone being built and i didnt really get items without EC and i remember christmas and last years graaloween and there hav been lots of changes

Yep they're right about the admins giving away too many ec through fb uploads, I almost have my legend healing staff without any events xD

Ugh, I miss the players from before more then the game itself. Back when the Ak47 was a mini souizen and people would absolutely dominate with it. Before since the guns where more balanced, the player skill set was so different then today. Now the games more weapon based, as well as connection based. I wish I could return to those days and I also wish I would've started as a sparrer from the beginning. I could fork out a ridiculous win lose ratio with the old ak vs the old M4 and famas.
Barley anyone of the people commenting are that oldbies, with some exceptions. The sparring community is at it's worse at the moment, half of the people don't even spar, they just try and get into virtual relationships. 95% of today's sparrers never heard of iBear, Vince, Vargas, \/\/IZ, Hunna, F13, Stabbar, Lux, Cloyd, Slick, Peter, Dusk, Ncj, or even Jester Lapse....
