Wow 11 pages was a lot to read! It's all interesting. I do believe it was wrong for ser to delete the head and it's also wrong to change the rules to defend him. From what I see the whole situation was not handled well by admins. For flash: that sucks, it seems we should look into ser because he sounds like a power abuser to me. I think admins should fix this.

Well the main problem that I think it was changed, and stated by jeni, was because of all the confusion it caused. The grandfather rule, now gone, was giving those illegal heads a chance to still be acceptable because it was protected about it being old. Also in the rules it says that if there is a hat that is like one on your head, it is illegal. Nothing should have been protected through the grandfather rule if it was illegal, in my opinion.

And Simplest, it looked like you were bragging that you got the courtesy $20k by the way you were telling it in your first post. Though the refund should've stayed. I'm sure if you just spoke about why your head was deleted and why the rules were changed, you would've kept the money.

I'm not protecting him just because he's staff but Ser was just doing what he thought was right, I don't think he was abusing his power because in the rule it says no head should have a similar hat ingame. The grandfather rule was just a terrible rule, and I'm glad it's rid of. People make mistakes, and they try to make up for it. But because of this confusion, things have been changed. And I still go by your head being illegal even with the grandfather rule and should have been removed a loooong time ago.

P.S. I'm not saying anyone is wrong or right, this is just my opinion on the whole ordeal and will probably be the last time I post on this thread.

Well if it's against the rules :P

Staff have to go with the rules of uploads if they delete someone's head just because of glases, that used to be protected. So ya.

Edit: in case you thought I meant staff have to follow upload rules, I meant they have to take care of other players who have illegal hats on heads.

Those staff pics are not customs with hats, they are either old hats no longer available, or personal hats which staff are permitted to have on their account.
