I've finally done it! Graal Editor now works on a mac. I posted a little while back on my progress and only one person bothered to post and they didn't even give me that tutorial I asked for if my findings worked in the end.
HOW TO GET GRAAL EDITOR ON A MAC
STEP 1: Get WINESKIN. http://sourceforge.net/projects/wine...7.zip/download
STEP 2: Run Wineskin Winery for your first time. It should come up with a screen like so: Attachment 7310.
STEP 3: Download and Install Engines and Wrappers. Download your first Engine by hitting the + button. Don't touch any other button except for the download and install on the menu that pops up. Next hit the update button where it says Wrapper version. You are set to make a wrapper!
STEP 4: Create a blank wrapper. Enter your desired app name after hitting "Create new Blank Wrapper" and press ok.
STEP 5: Wait and install basic items. After a minute or so it should come up with some install options. Hit install. WHEN DONE PRESS REVEAL IN FINDER
STEP 6: Install X11. Search on your Mac App Store for a program called X11. Download and run. Make sure to accept the license agreement if an option appears.
STEP 7: Download the Graal V6 Client. Super self-explanatory.
We are now getting into the slightly trickier parts.
STEP 8: Install and run Grall for the first time. Select your program in finder. It should come up with a screen like so Attachment 7311. Press install software and click your graal installer file. When the installation is complete, select the Graal.exe file from the drop-down menu. Now click "Advanced" and press Test Run. Follow appropriate steps.
STEP 9: Install Era_Developement_Kit and the Editor. Log on as either a Member or Guest. Hit start and select Install Packages. Select the graal editor to install. Install. Log into era and click on the small blue arrow at the bottom of the screen. Hit start and install packages. Select Era_Developement_Kit and let download. Exit Graal.
STEP 10: Configure Graal. When it says the Test run has been completed, go back to the advanced page and select options. Check all that apply in the attached photo Attachment 7313
STEP 11: Running Graal Editor. Go back to the configuration tab and select browse next to the default launch exe. Hit Program Files > Graal > GraalEditor.exe . Test Run.
DO NOT TRY TO ENLARGE THE WINDOW IN ANY WAY
STEP 12: Running the Era tileset. Time to get leveling! Hit open and navigate to the Graal > Levels > Era_Developement_Kit folder. Press the file with the .nw suffix. Double click on the labeled NPC and click test. You have the Era tileset!
STEP 13: Creating a new map. Hit new and then press "Save as". Save it as anything you want, but make sure you start the file name with Era_ . Go back and double click on the original npc and hit test again. VOILA!
NOTE! Each time you want to use the Editor, you'll have to navigate to the actual app in Home > Applications > YourApp.app . Right click it and select show package contents and click the on application called wineskin. Each time you open the editor you'll have to use it in the Test Run mode. Each time you close it you'll have to go to your options tab and deselect "Focus Follows Mouse". Test run the app and then close it when it comes up with the white screen. Now next time you want to use it, go to options and select the option you deselected. You have it!
Enjoy leveling on a Mac. Sorry for the terrible tutorial, make sure to point out any errors
