well sorry it is nerfed but I like this adds on, it's not the same as M4 thought, it still has more low freeze than m4 I believe

Nevermind, its not as bad. When the clip was changed to 16, i was in the middle of a fight and it felt like an M4. Its somewhat what it use to be. Still sucks that it got nerfed for its price. RIP old gm4

Something feels rather odd though with the semi auto and auto button configuration.
I thought Semi Auto allows you to spam more IF you had timed the bullets right after each shot?

I'm waiting for the huge rant that's coming in probably 1h.

I noticed that

RIP gm4. Once a great gun.

Now a horrible, extremely slow piece of crap, ruined by eras gun system.

I paid for a great gun, and now that gun is trash.

It feels like I've been stolen from.

For gods sake even metalstorm is better now.

I don't wanna be a jerk about it but I've recieved some good opinions from GM4 users and they said Auto is better than Semi.

After testing both firemode, it has come to this conclusion that Auto is in fact better than Semi.
Why? Semi only has the ability to tap-spam but it doesn't work 100% in spamming compare to the auto mode.

Nothing to complain about but, what are YOUR opinions?

First of all,to all you gm4 users who think this is biased should take a reality check.
When you bought that gun,wasn't it for its overpowered stats?
Another question:When you buy ghost m4,the first thing that should be in your mind is that this gun is eventually getting nerfed due to the unbalance of its stats compared to other guns.
I'm a ghost m4 user,and I will say what I feel is best for the sparring community which is supposed to be skill-based and not all about spamming.
Say what you want,but you cannot stop the inevitable from happening.
It may be a tough pill to take for certain gm4 users,but I suggest you try and work on your skills more than being depressed about an item being nerfed.
Furthermore,each person is entitled to his/her opinion on this thread.
If you said this poll is biased,you should think about the poll in another perspective,as to WHY this was polled in the first place,which was to obtain opinions from the spar community on how this gun has affected sparring as a whole.
This is for the best,and is based on everyone's opinion not just yours.

Its the skills of a player, not a gun
like if a skilled M4 user vs another skilled M4 user
one will win depending on a sparring technique of the individual

The gm4 is the second most expensive gun in the game. It deserves to be powerful.

As a previous poster said, gm4 is not as op as you think. With the right amount of skill, it is extremely easy to beat a gm4. No; I have P2Ks and the old gm4 was much better in spar and pk; sure p2ks are faster but gm4 has no requirements for u to get, making it a very common op gun...i just checked the nerf and i don't think it's as bad as i thought it would be. the only thing i dont like is if u want it to be auto, and u switch to another item and then go back to gm4, the gm4 will be semi again; as a baser this is annoying for me as i always switch between guns and melees; pls fix this sam.

If your going to balance a "op weapon" please balance all op weapons so the gm4 can still be competitive. Which means p2k's and the rest of the spammy guns tht have u dodging endlessly as you say.

Agreed, Stop making "High priced guns" will solve this problem, You put a 187k+ gun out there and then nerf it to where those with 50k guns can compete with it... This is the good ole bait and switch.... But in the end people will either stop buying the high priced guns on release or you will continue to be make a killing off this scam...

They put all of these restrictions and swear filters for 12 year olds yet are perfectly fine cornering 12 year old and younger children and extorting their parents for money. So I doubt they will stop the cash cow.

This is why i have attempted to make my case about how using in game money and guns should be allowed to be traded... Its the entire economy on PC era... So when i buy a gun and it gets nerfed into the ground i have the option to try and trade it to recoop some of my losses.. but it will never happen on here.

I can't even believe that the gm4 was nerfed. Take this from someone who doesn't own it either.
The difference in price between the BAR and gm4 is marginal, 13k.
With that said, the gm4 should only be slightly worse than its 200k counterpart. The gm4 shouldnt recieve the nerf it already has (lower fire rate and smaller magazine, and longer reload?). That's too much. A 13k difference doesn't call for such a significant nerf. Both weapons are used in different situations, and some people just simply prefer one over the other. The bar provides great damage with decent maneuverability, while the gm4 is a more maneuverable weapon at the cost of damage. Its also super unfair to compare the gm4 to the pdw (someone said that earlier). The weapons should not be compared; they are on completely different planes based on price and performance.

The changes need to be reverted. Keep in mind this opinion is not biased; I do not own a gm4. It's nice to have a wide range of guns that are on the same level with each other. It adds a nice variety to gameplay. If this nerf remains, era is once again going to be dominated by bars.

Haha, Why would they? Why you are at it nerf all guns over the 100K threshhold so all guns are on the same playing field as the 50k guns... We already paid for them... you dont do refunds... finish the scam off ;)

The gm4s nerf should be reverted. It was unnecessary.

I think gm4 is bad now lol the changed just made it useless becuase the ghost m4 is basicly like a bar now when u change fire modes , can you please change it back into a spar gun which it was original becuase the original m4 is a no spam spar gun that's why it only 50k but since the ghost m4 is a improved upgrade it should at least be 10 damage lolololol just kidding but can u aleast keep the 20 clip coz I find my self always relordind during spars and get hit everytime i Relord ):

I think guns that you earn such as EC guns, spar guns, and pk guns should not be touched for the simple fact that i worked for what the gun is not what they are going to change it too.. Regular guns bought with gralats are a different story because there is the option of packs regardless of wether or not you did dig for it. Now if someone is bottom hugging and spamming you can always pull out your good ol 360 no scoper and that will make them move or they'll die. GM4 new "nerf' is something i actually like because the new automatic version of the gm4 is rather to my preferance. Although i would like it if i didnt have to constantly change the fire rate, i wish it would stay auto
