Ehhh another set of 10 points seems a bit too op.

I see a lot of people who get mad and want to series. It isn't easy to fight a certain person when there are many people in the spar room, so I would like to suggest having a spar room added just for the purpose to series people. Maybe it would allow the 2 people in the same gang to be sparred against and each and they will get continued matches until one of them gets 3 wins.
Those numbers seem kind of strange when you consider that each match held results in a player gaining 1 win and 1 loss. Then when you look at the multiplex solo spar stats and see that the total of the top 50 sparrers, (with the lowest at rank 50 only having 17 wins) and that top 50 total is roughly under 150k wins of all time if that. I was rounding up and got to around 130k when I added them all.
Unless the other 150k matches were draws lol..
Even if they are messed up it's unlikely that over 150k wins are unaccounted for, and again that is of all time, whereas the statistics it's being based off of is from only a month.
Also they seemed pretty accurate. Number 50 had only 17 wins yes, but number 49 had over 1000
Well, maybe you regard them as 'strange' - they're real regardless.
The scoreboard is not accurate at all & you shouldn't even take that as some sort of evidence as you're not visible on it if you don't spar a few days and/or server restarts (it is likely the latter).
My statement is based on logs, maybe you should check them out if you don't want to accept that my statistics are, in fact, legitimate.
What Happen To TTS in MPX That should be but in MPX that sounds like something people will ikr In MPX
it would be amazing if we can earn points to chage our gun stats by winning matches;)
Should overhaul and add rewards for Gang Spar and Base Battle so people start playing them more. Also weekly tournaments and events would be nice
Others have recommended this, until they realized that such a change would give a mechanical advantage to people who are already performing well.
Not only would this be contrary to the skill-based philosophy of Multiplex, but this "make the strong even stronger" mentality is really detrimental to any game.
It essentially discourages newer people from playing, because they're going in with a double disadvantage: in experience, and in weaponry.
Net result: Lower playercount.
We don't have to look very far to see this in action-- just look at Ol' West.
They have a system with Gang Points, where gang members are individually rewarded for their contribution to the Gang's success.
Then they have a "Gang point shop", where people can exchange their gang points for overpowered melee weapons (fast attack rate, competitive damage, long reach).
In theory, it's a fantastic idea. But they've executed it very poorly.
In the beginning, I'm sure this was a fair system, but if you fast forward for any appreciable period of time, look at the environment it has created:
On my last visit to Ol West, I couldn't help but notice that practically every member of the "top gang" had at least a couple of these "rewards".
You have a situation where the gangs that have won in the past, have a secured victory in the future, given that a good portion of their member base has a weapon advantage.
So now those members are winning even more gang points, to buy even more overpowered weapons.
It doesn't take a wild imagination to forecast that this would discourage newer players.
I was personally put off by this reverse-robin-hood situation, so I haven't been on Ol' West since.
I can only hope that they have since remedied this -- the server has potential otherwise.
But yeah -- not something I would want to bring to Era-- much less Multiplex.
I love it. already have some of the rewards.
Have a nice day!:)
Maybe a triple-threat spar where it needs 3 people to happen and 3 people go free for all in a normal spar room I'd suggest the win-lose points as this: a winning point to the last man alive - a losing point for the one who dies first and no winning nor losing points to the guy who dies after the first person is dead
Maybe a fun game mode that could be just there as a extra: the rules are the same as the solo-spar rules, the difference is that as soon as you enter to the arena, you're given random statistics to your gun. It would introduce players to some new statistics they might like and had never tried. Maybe this can be just for fun, if it gets really competitive, it would be nice to implement the point system into that mode.
I'm literally just waiting for the tts because I love tts.
add guns rewards
I agree with the statement being that the MPX Gun should be sold for $90k and can replace your old MPX Gun. If that's the case, make it so that the requirement to get said MPX Gun should be around 15k wins or so. Make it in the same category as if it is a reward gun like Vector or P2Ks and such.
Make an even in events house that uses mpx guns only so more people gonna visit mpx to practice and i believe this will help mpx becomes more active so the players will go practice there with their mpx guns so they can perform good in the event and win ec.

Maybe make different rooms for different amounts of wins, just so we have a chance to get to the top of our tier then go to a new only and progress at a steady rate
Cant wait for for my MPX gun skin ;)
Got a few more ideas here for ya Anero.
Welcome PM/NPC
This idea concerns introducing players to Multiplex. Some of the newer players who step into MPX seem confused at times, such as entering a spar without a MPX gun because they don't know how to get one, or not adding any points to their gun, not realizing that they could. I suggest a welcome PM like what the trade building has when you enter. An example to include in the PM:
Or, instead of a welcome PM, add an NPC that says "Welcome to Multiplex! Grab me for information!" above it near the MPX entrance, then add the relevant information to it. Whichever is less intrusive. Either suggestion should help assist players who are new to MPX and ease them into MPX's competitive environment a little better, and hopefully encourage them to stay.Quote:
Welcome to Multiplex for skill-based play! If you're new to MPX, Find Anero in the lobby and grab him to receive your MPX Gun. You will need this to play here, as all players can only use the MPX Gun! Say /mg in chat to add points to your gun to change its stats, or grab the PC table. Experiment and try different gun builds! You can earn rewards in the Multiplex Shop by winning matches! Have fun!
In addition, I suggest moving the NPC that resets your spar stats and the NPC(s) that gives you the MPX gun, and switch places with them. The "GRAB ME!" sign gets quick attention and is easier to find if it was moved near the entrance. I don't think many players reset their spar stats very often, and so I feel its NPC can be moved towards the back of the building.
Reward variety
On the subject of rewards, here's one suggestion to add reward variety to motivate players.
For example on gun skins, let's say a player reaches 10k wins. They can now enter a new 10k MPX wins reward room (anyone can enter, they just can't grab the rewards unless they have the correct amount of wins, like it currently is now), but instead of just one gun skin to choose, they now have options: a Silver gun skin, a "Blood Red" gun skin, or a "Sapphire Blue" gun skin for example. This means adding more rewards, but the idea is to give a variety of cosmetic looks on the same milestone level for the player to choose from. In my opinion, this adds some uniqueness to players, since everyone uses the same gun.
Adding new gun skins with different firing sounds, different looks, etc., can be appealing, and they can become slightly more "exotic" in looks as the MPX sparrer achieves higher milestones to avoid the look of a re-skin, such as shiny effects or a sleeker MPX gun design. Basically, the suggestion adds choices for the player to choose different appearances to the MPX gun on a milestone, and adds increasing attractiveness to rewards for higher milestones, so not everyone will generally look the same.
The same can apply for the hats and melees too, all that is needed is creative ideas and some development time.
Ultimately though, none of these are meant to change actual gameplay at all; these are only visual differences to add further variety for accomplished MPX sparrers to show proof of their effort, and that's it. The idea here is to motivate players long-term to go for more attractive rewards and stand out, without changing the gameplay.
Staff MPX announcement commands
We know there's announcements for gang spar and PK Arena, how about one for MPX's duo and Base Battle too? :) (unless they already exist and I'm just terribly out of the loop)
Best tip: Delete it.
Jk. The only way i would do MPX more than complex is if i could get complex's rewards with MPX wins

I also like Ren idea, But mpx is lacking player. Let's think outside the box, and imagine mpx as a product. What do business do when they are trying to promote more people to use or consume their product they advertise advertise advertise. That the best way to go, So i say advertise mpx as much as you can till it got a stable amount of player. You have to be a creative person for this job it also has to be original or else people won't be interested. Not the old same boring simple MPX message we get. Come down to duo spar!. No no no that boring and simple, try spicing thing up like come down to duo spar the winning team will win a reward. What should the reward be? Im not sure we should ask the mpx player what they want or leave it up to the staff. Do this with all the MPX room for example Base battle, Team spar, Duo spar, or simply mpx spar. I have many great idea, but sadly that the staff work not our. If i was offer to be staff i wouldn't mind to share more original creative idea :) . Please offer me to be a staff member anero. DM .
Saying again if u want mpx become an important part make some events where u can only use mpx gun and basses
