Improve The Quality Of Staff

What a day.

Fathom myself, these admins are awful and too young to be hired. You might as well hire a baby!

The system here is used as Guilty until proven innocent which is completely injust.

I've been jailed twice today, one being a mistake, and two being over exaggerated.
I was just now jailed for 9 hours by Fell.
I was in the event Spar Tourney and Chump was eating bullets.
I said Chump eats like a 'bch'. This is in no way a reason to jail me for 9 hours.

Reasons:
1. Common sense, really? 9 hours for saying that?
2. He didn't know the meaning. A bch is a female dog. I have a female bulldog, her name is Bella: http://imgur.com/4QcEzne. Bella eats like a slob when she gets her dinner. I was referring Chump as to someone eating bullets to a female dog eating dinner.
3. Once again, Really? You got to be out to get me if you are that much of a wuss. Believe me I want to curse so bad right now towards that idiot.
4. You are hosting events! It was the final spar of Spar Tourney, I had said that and he dragged me out, I swear on my moms life I said 'I'm sorry' and he had jailed me anyways. Could he have not just kicked me from the event?

I know I somewhat deserve it, but that's nonsense.

I totally agree that admins of today do not act like they once did.

It was not his intention to jail you for 9 hours. The amount of time you've gotten jailed depends on the amount of warnings you've received. The PR team never puts a set amount of time on jails, the server does that for us depending on the amount of warnings you have.

I and 5 other people including Fell were watching the last spar.

I said Chump eats like a bch, he dragged me to the wall, I said 'sorry' then i got scared and unsticked myself.

Then he warned me and got me jailed for 9 hours.

I can't write a ticket. Whenever I submit one it says 'file not found'.

And if I did I would be unjailed by the time I got a response.
This also relates to the topic of the corruptness admin thread, so it isn't much of a problem.

I want your unbiased opinion regardless of previous history, Chris.

Warnings add up from time to time. You were jailed instantly because you had previous warnings before that one.
Please educate yourself before creating assumptions.

This thread was not made to begin arguments. Also in regards to the work that is done due to it being voluntary work, I am not saying that all staff members do not do enough. What I am stating is that PRs should act professionally rather than use their power of jails and gagging of an individual due to personal distaste. In situations where actions need to be taken, staff regardless of who the subject is should act in a manner that is not in the favor of one person or the other. As a customer that is the very MINIMUM I am allowed to expect from staff. Being a staff member is not a joke nor is it a hobby, it is a voluntary position of power that should be wielded for the betterment of the game, not their own personal benefits. If you as a staff member are unable to do the very minimum that is to be expected of you, and blame your lack of effort and enthusiasm due to no payment, then you as an individual do not deserve to be running a game. You sign up for your positions knowing what it is you need to do and what is to be expected of you, and in fact being an administrator is a serious task regardless of it being voluntary or not. And what is even more alarming and disturbing is the fact you fail to comprehend just how important of a role you serve, this isn't some camp counselor stuff this is a business that is run on money. Punishments that are just should be allowed, however NEVER mix business with your personal life.

It seems like you are using one staff member's 'personal bias' that gave you a negative experience to generalize the PR team as a whole. Ever thought of reporting the person to higher staff? Myself as well as other high staff have many channels to be contacted from.

Hi i feel like i should explain that message, you spammed me and other prs to tell snk, i did tell snk i also told staff on the discord chat. Snk himself said that it wasn't a big issue, i told you this yet you and your friend continued the spam that you "had more glitches to report to snk" all the glitches you talked about i told snk and he said they aren't important which i told you next, but you continued saying they were important and it sounded desperate looking for contact with snk or/and a reward for it.
To be clear I told higher staff about the issue, i spent 30 minutes with Ace (theplayer reporting this) trying to figure out what was wrong with the psg since he couldnt move at some point, and as thank i get accusions that im corrupt and dont do my job lol thanks

I am not generalizing the staff at all, in fact I have a great amount respect for many of the people that actually do put in their time to do what it is they are supposed to do. I am saying that through my experiences as well as other peoples experiences I can conclude that this sort of problem is an ongoing one that can not be pinpointed to any one individual. Overall there is a mutual overwhelming consensus that there are problems with the administration team.

Wow emo isnt rude

Coke Dragon is by far the most biased admin I've ever experienced with my 6 years of Graal Era.

I think you are failing to understand that I in no way called or referenced my status towards a PR. Rather he took offense to it due to the frustration of my constant pking of their base. He jailed me not for the words that were in the status but for the underlying fact that he did it out of spite and bias for the gang he is in.

I am not here to start arguments, this thread is simply to raise awareness and get something done about the issue that has plagued this game for so long.

A cop wouldn't arrest you for calling them emo, nor would any intelligent staff member. Saying emo isn't harassment, if you actually think this you need to get out more.

You'd think that if so many players voiced concern over a staff member they'd be investigated, evidence or not.

Its funny, where i live (supposedly the city with the best policeman) you can shout any offense certainly more offensive than "emo" to the cops and they are legally obligated to ignore you. But thats off topic isnt it?. The point is that emo is Not an offense; a style of rock music resembling punk but having more complex arrangements and lyrics that deal with more emotional subjects. I cant see how this definition makes the word offensive other than the meaning that people gave them themselves

In the US we are protected by the First amendment and have our freedom of speech. A police officer could only arrest you here if your speech would reach the level of disorderly conduct.

There are unfortunately some sad incidents where excessive force was used when it shouldn't have been but it wasn't because of the first amendment.

Police enforce gun probation to people who are suicidal and own a gun. Going off topic... Some of you guys aren't catching the whole point of calling someone emo.

I think what it comes down to is we have too many rules for the PR's to follow which gives them so many options when it comes to warning/ jailing. A lot of it definitely is most likely biased which is why I still don't agree with "popular" players or players who have strong friend/ connections to the game to be hired as they usually give exceptions to those people, less to those they aren't friends with and are more likely to give their friends an advantage in other areas.

Yes our community is pretty toxic and also young, but things like swearing/ insults I don't really agree with warning people for. It's part of games, you really can't do much to combat it, it's always going to be there at the most then a minor gag.
We have a swear filter in game, so the way I see it is we have already done our part, if people choose to find ways around that then there isn't a whole lot that can be done to a certain degree. There is a block filter etc, if people are harassing you just block them, if they do it ingame just ignore them. Racial slurs/ extreme personal attacks yes should remain warn/ jailable, but simple swearing or playful insults should be left as they can be misinterpereted by staff, especially in instances where i've heard of people being jailed for jokingly saying something to a friend, with the friend understanding it was a joke.

I'd also like to say that I don't think being staff necessarily gives you the right to jail/ warn people who are specifically attacking you as it's mostly for attention of you being staff, and there are plenty of ways to ignore it. Insults are part of having a staff position and staff shouldn't take it upon themselves to censor anything negative towards them as your average player can't do that either.

The swear filter is useless, we can always say something similar to the bad word, also the system is pretty retarded, just try saying "Samsung Galaxy" in public chat
