With this thread people are thinking about to 8 and 9 damage guns, how it will only make it 1 extra shot, but have you thought about the lower damage guns? For example the minigun is a 3.5 damage guns thats 4.5 when perfect. When its perfect its 11 shots to kill, but if it dropped just 1 damage it would be a 14 shot kill, thats 3 more shots to kill even when it has that .5 damage increase. You would also need to shoot someone 5 extra times with chemical gun to kill them, its already not worth 200 ec why make it worse. This wouldn't affect those higher damage guns as much but that it will kill all lower damage guns.
No chemical gun doesn't need a nerf. The only thing stopping it from being worth 80 ec is its explosives. Instead of trying to nerf it how about removing it from the event shop when it reaches a certain cap of people that own it. Half of the game owns the flamethrower and thats not getting a nerf anytime soon even though its better than chem.
