well your status is offensivve in the first place. No one asked you to provoke him.
At this point, its been over a month since this new system has been implemented. I have spent a lot of time in the bases and even some in the spar complex and what
I have noticed, with this new system in effect, is a decrease in people in bases/pking bases (in some cases they have been 100% empty), no noticeable increase in spar, or any of the other goals you initially set out to accomplish. Even the goal of increasing gun diversity within the population has not been met. Players have begun using what is deemed the "new best" which are currently different since the golden guns have been rendered virtually useless. This meaning players are using different guns from before but not a greater diversity.
People are always going to gravitate to a name brand item its part of popular culture. If the top gang leaders are all using the pbps, then the general population will too because that is seen as a way to rise to the "best." Also in my experience most people don't emerge as a serious basers until they have a gun of popular social status hence the popularity of the pbp, shipka, or BAR. This point can be proven in instances when the metal storm was popular, all the top basers used this gun and the general population used it more. That is until the top basers switched to the p2ks or back to the BAR in some cases. Which began the rise of p2ks
Spar was the main other reason for this "rebalancing" which is a pointless argument in favor of nerfing of all golden guns. If the spar people were truly affected by these guns that have been around forever then why not utilize multiplex. Multiplex the place essentially catered to sparrers and with balanced weapons specifically for that community. It can't be because multiplex is too crowded because multiplex is, generally, not crowded at all.
So that brings the question of what's the point? If people aren't basing more, aren't sparring more, and we haven't accomplished anything except gaining the anger of a lot of players. I'm all for rebalancing a gun if it benefits the population (like banning the chem from bases I totally support), but this seems like a poor attempt at promoting the success of other guns, more so the nature of combat in iEra.
Thank you so much. This was very well said and a wrap up of this debate. The nerfing isn't accomplishing what it is suppose to and nearly everyone is upset. I don't like the point that I spent 4 months digging in my free time and spending money on the bar for it to be the same thing as an 82k gun. That time I spent digging can't be returned and it upsets me. I could have done something else other than waste my time. None of the newest players are any more active. They're still st start and in astros wanting to rp. Sam nerfed the guns in their favor but never campaigned it so they all knew about it. No one would spend 200k on the bar as it is now. Even any of the reward guns are no good.
I started to afk actually coz of not feeling satisfied with the gun specially bar the 200k gun and i have said it before if it was about skills there where something made called mpx and I suggested to make a base works with mpx Guns if its true they or he (sam) cares about skills/gameplay that would have done better than making people unsatisfied and unhappy and angry
Afterall people (not mentioning names) have told me to get the best gun but that would be done when i die coz last time I bought gm4 within 5days exactly it got nerfed so no more wasting money and i wont get my self more angry with buying more guns to see them getting nerfed in future again thats a lesson you all should not fall in it again

Agreed, tho I hope Bitz doesn't attribute the recent increase in player count as his doing because thats more because of the recent updates i.e, the new shops & new base rather than because of his nerfs. It went as high as 3000 after the new base & shops were released something I don't recall seeing in a very long long time. Before that it was around 1300-1800 depending on your timezone.
Seems like Sam has forgot about his own thread. He hasn't posted on it in a while. He's probs ignoring it. Thinks his decision was the best and that's it.
1) They're going to nerf all the guns.
2) Introduce a NEW gun that's the best gun in the game.
3) Charge 200-300k for the gun
4) Profit
5) Repeat in the future.
I don't think they'll add a gun that's 300k, at least I hope not. No telling with Sam as gun admin though.

And now the akimbos were nerfed, meaning their "extremely high fire rate" is now a moderate fire rate. At 7 dmg its a complete waste of money, so thanks for that. This is just stupid, these guns don't even have the same descriptions as when they were brought.
Glock 18
Freeze- 0.2
Firerate- 0.32
Spread- 0.06
Clip- 18
Reload- 0.35
G18 (Glock 18) Akimbo
Freeze- 0.15
Firerate- 0.26
Spread- 0.17
Clip- 18
Reload- 0.475
These stats don't justify a 138,000 gralat difference. And thats without the Glock 18 attachment which lowers its freeze and increases its rof.

The bushmaster acr is on par with the akimbos now, higher rof (0.22), slightly less freeze (0.17), faster reload (0.2), less spread and higher clip for 57500 gralats.
The akimbos spread doesn't make it better for any reason, there's time where spread can really hurt you such as in bases and even spar if its constantly missing

So the scar-h and m107 were also nerfed.... was this even part of the plan or are things just being nerfed to "make up" for other things that were nerfed, because these weren't even in the original plan that was given to us. This plan clearly wasn't thought out all the way through and by the way its going now its only a matter of time until guns that are like 50k and under will be due to them being too good for their price because all the high end and medium tier stuff were nerfed.
None of these nerfs are justifying the guns prices. Bar is more expensive than scar but nearly the same thing. G18 akimbos near same thing as bushmaster acr. M4a3 and gm4 nearly same thing. There is way too many factors that needs to be taken into consideration when nerfing these weapons. The price, how long it takes to get them I.e reward weapons, and how many people have them. Most people with these weapons are graal veterans, and you can't just take everything good away from the guns we love and not expect backfire and logical statements rebuttaling your reasoning bitzsam. Now all we get is bitzsam quoting the things we say and attempting to dismantle them rudely at times. He doesn't look at it through our eyes and if he is he isn't doing it with an open mind. These new players he put the spotlight on are not noticing anything. No increase in basing, sparring, etc. they're still rping, and afking. He didn't accomplish anything. I think a month is plenty of time to be able to notice a difference in these things. I haven't noticed any difference other than the basers aggravated that their bar is too slow to combat a metalstorm or Thompson. Now let's all take off our hats and just watch as graal is buried 6 feet under. Bitzsam single handedly killed graal.
I agree, I'm not sure how making every gun worst is going to make the game better. Other than all of us being forced to comply to Bitzsam definition of fun & skill based play.
True, I feel like he is just doing this nerf so he can do something (As stated many times in this thread).
People say that he should do Countryside but he has finished what he can do, and is waiting for SNK.
I'm still not saying the nerf was good, because it wasn't.
Have to agree with Moon & Beo. Certainly RPing seems a whole lot interesting than basing atm. A lot of people start basing when they get the named brand guns. The nerfs lately has proven it as clear as day that its unlikely it change how things are going to work. Hence, why we shouldn't go on with this silly downward spiral nerfing of all guns stop the madness Sam.
Bitz straight up stopped responding to this thread lol
Watch him bring up how the same people are the only ones posting on this thread now. Lol someone has to speak for the people.
Time for round 3 of nerfing! Woot!
He made the metalstorm the new BAR and nerfed that. What's next? PDW?
This gun rebalanced caused more problems then fixed.... This was a stupid idea in the first place.... Should of thought of better way to make the game fun not mess up the guns ... These admins suck now.. I miss the old 2013 days

+15 clip makes it worth 80k more... wow.
Spread isn't necessarily a stat where - the higher, the better. But I see where you're coming from.
The question what can we do to prevent this ?giving era bad rate so no players would be interested in playing era when they see the bad rate it has and stop buying staff in era we can do more we are the energy ( the electricity )that runs inside a machine, a machine with no energy it wont run so actually we can do much , think in what way we can damage them tell they get us back the stats

The only formidable guns that are still alright are pdw and psg

And a faster reload; which amplifies the effects of the higher clip size. =D
As I've said, I think the guns needed a nerf.
I think they could have been done a little less harsh, but I don't think the balance is quite over yet.
We went 6 years basing guns off of a system that has just been shuffled, so it's going to take more than a couple months to get it back to equilibrium.
On the matter of basing:
It's evident that something needed to happen to shake Basing up abit.
I'm glad that something has been shifted that can potentially get the ball is finally rolling.
Basing as it was provided little incentive to do anything other than hire/ally a bunch of friends and AFK your way to the top.
That type of watered-down gameplay was bound to cause a decline in player interest.
As I mentioned in this thread, while I think Guns were part of the problem, I don't think that they were the real issue with basing.
If "Operation: Improve Basing" was to be seriously discussed, and all avenues were considered, I would have rather seen the issues with healing, base layouts, and respawns be tackled before major gun adjustments would have been made.
I voiced heavily on this last year on Graalians:

One particular quote from that post that is of relevance here:
But again - I'm happy to see some changes being made, because it could lead to some discussion for breakthrough improvements.Quote:
