If staff is lacking on scripters, then simply hire scripters. There's lots of players in the community with scripting knowledge and they are always waiting for applications, but applications rarely go up, and instead of hiring scripters they're adding SFX staff.
Thankfully Coop stated that it would be released this summer, and players are now complaining due to lack of staff and management. I'm not calling any staff out in particular, all I'm trying to say is that staff should put their head in the game. Staff applied to work, they were hired to manage, they chose to fill out applications, yet we don't have results. Not to mention players backing up such unacceptable procrastination.
"See guys, this is why we shouldn't have release dates, because people are always whining."
"Guys give staff a break it's a big project."
"This is why staff shouldn't release upcoming projects because player whine."
-I totally disagree.
I liked where Coop was headed giving release dates. It made him prioritize and it gave him interest in making countryside. If staff were to never give out release dates then they can procrastinate and just never release projects because there's no deadline. iEra without updates, in my opinion, is boring.
Summer for some is over. Summer is almost over for others. Where's the reliability of staff? Where's the "one quality that makes you different from the others?" Where's the commitment?
I'm not staff, but I'm very disapointed.
Everyone was looking froward to this.
