Thread: Rebuff OPR and BPP

    I feel that the nerf was necessary.
    In preparation for GST, I went through all EC items, and Arcade items.

    I never realized how good the Arcade guns were-- the OPR was easily better than any EC item on the market.
    At least, for me.

    The only "weakness" it had was the low damage, which in no way really stunted the gun, because of the many advantages it had.

    -Moderate Spread
    -Knockback/Electricity/Fire
    -High Fire Rate
    -Low Freeze
    -Automatic Reload

    The Automatic Reload is definitely the thing that gave it the biggest edge.
    People compare it to the flame, but the flamethrower has a lengthy reload to contest the advantages it offers.
    The OPR, by contrast, has an automatic reload, which is yet another advantage in its favor.

    Even with the nerfed fire rate, the gun still dominates.

    Dominate? Its nowhere close to even usable anymore. I think it fires somewhere around 1.5 bullets a second. 5 damage per bullet. It would take a whole 10 bullets to kill someone, and at that fire rate, a whole 7-10 seconds. You can't kill someone with it unless they were in the kitchen making a sandwich. And the automatic reload right? What happens when you're in a situation where you have to blast off a whole clip? The thing charges 2 bullets per second, so if you run off the clip, you're pretty much screwed. That thing was perfect as it was. Its low damage was a disadvantage, fire rate and freeze for the advantage, low spread was a disadvantage, and the clip/recharge is advantage/disadvantage(perspective). Plus the recoil.

    Don't even try comparing it to flamer. OPR vs. Flamer, OPR would die in about 2.4 seconds.

    After trying out the OPR, you nerfed it way too bad. I literally regret wasting my time getting tickets so you incompetent staff can just nerf it horribly, I agree that it needed a nerf. But are you all idiots? It was 50k tickets, use your brain.

    I suppose it was a little premature for me to use the word "dominates".
    That was actually a theory based on the advantages that the gun still has. I couldn't imagine the fire rate being that potent, but I very well could be wrong.
    My apologies for jumping to the conclusion.
    I haven't actually used it since the nerf; I'll take it out for a walk today(or tomorrow) and get back to you.

    Xfg smg and mg36 are now better than OPR so do u think it needs nerf for the upcoming GST?
    I mean its not a valid reason to nerf a gun that was released long time ago just to give way for the upcoming event.

    Also id like to point out that OPR doesnt have stack damage, it has recoil, the effect chance is low and has an auto reload which can be a disadvantage.

    Btw opr bullet is small compare to the bpp.

    If ur reason was because of gst why not just ban it in the events or allow the players to get their tickets back?

    First they increase the tickets for everything in the arcade shop. Now they nerf it, awful, the only thing the arcade is good for is the hats.

    It wasn't even powerful with its original stats. Basing with it was basically suicide, the damage is pretty low to effectively PK with, and the recoil made it hard to dodge in spar. It was only effective in gang spar.
