Lore:(Viewer discretion is advised because this gets REALLY messed up. No going back though!)
“Papa? Why are you and mommy fighting?" Pete stands off in the corner of his family's tattered living room, just staring as his father throws his mother up against a wall. Swearing and cursing, Pete's mother grabs a glass bottle and smashes it against Papa's head, immobilizing the fat man for a a mere second. She tries to get away, but Papa grabs her by the hair and throws her onto the ground over top the shattered glass. Pete is screaming now, trying to call off Papa, but the fat man just curses at the boy and tells him to get lost. It's the boy's turn to try and stop his father now. Grabbing a pillow from the couch, Pete hits Papa in the head repeatedly as the big man strangles the life out of his mother. Papa stops, actually, only to send Pete flying with a swat into a nearby dulling lamp, increasing the amount of glass spread across the floor.
The 6 year old can do little as his mother stops kicking...and Papa rises to his feet.
“How much of that did you see, boy? Come here. We're leaving. Stop looking at me like that! STOP CRYING!" Papa's tone grows more and more aggressive as he comes closer and closer to the boy. Before Pete knows it, Papa's hands are around his throat too. In a desperate attempt to survive, acting on instinct, Pete grabs a shard of glass and drives it up into Papa's doublechin. The fat man recoils and falls back off of Pete, spraying blood as he tries to speak his final words.
“Sonnnn...I-...sorry" is all Pete can make out. The young boy sits there for awhile, contemplating the shock and panicking as new demons find shelter in the shattered psyche of the child. All he wanted was a normal family...a family who loved each other. If he could, he would have convinced Papa and Mama to get out of Noxus. The city-state was much too evil any way! A knock on the door brings Pete back to reality, and the boy looks over his bloodied father and lifeless mother before standing up and rushing to the visitor at the door. He opens up the roach-infested door, only to see a man colored in bright reds standing before him. He knew this man. A blood mage who goes by the name of Vladimir. Mama always said to avoid this man and The Black Rose, but Pete never did figure out who they were. Vladimir hands the boy a small book bound in skin, before turning and exiting the slums in which Pete and his family lived.
Pete flips through the small book and finds a page of great interest. A ritual...to resurrect the dead.

The young boy sits in the alleyways of Demacia, crying and wiping away tears as loudly as possible. A business woman appears in the entrance of the alley, and comes rushing to boy's side as quickly as he legs allow. The boy stops crying and looks up at the woman's soft and caring eyes. He feels a warmth he hasn't felt in the longest of times.
“What's wrong? Where are your parents?" She asks gingerly as she wipes away the boy's tears. The young child sniffles and points towards the largest skyscraper in the city-state.
“Mommy and Daddy are...th-they're fighting up there." The boy explains and the woman just blinks in disbelief. A Demacian doesn't just abandon a crying child, however. The business woman stands the boy up and the two begin walking toward the skyscraper, when a sharp pain blasts into the woman's nerves from the calf of her leg! She looks back only to see the boy twist a rusty knife into her leg. Out of instinct, she kicks the boy back with her other leg and pathetically tries to limp out of the alley.
“Miss? What about my parents?" The boy whispers as tears begin to form in his eyes.
“YOU'RE CRAZY!" She shrieks back and is almost out of the alleyway, when the boy speaks up to match her tone.
“I'm NOT crazy. Papa is." With no warning, a large man drags the woman back into the alleyway, and her screams are drowned out by the roar of a chainsaw.
