Mystery, i can try that haha and Ace, the purple shapes on the pinker side are supposed to be suction cups x.x
Well, first of all, try to make all different directions, not just the one you have. Also, put an outline around the tentacle. Whether its dark gray, black, or dark pink, I think it needs an outline. Lastly, I feel like the handle is too small.

yeah i couldnt make a good handle for it x,x and i dont really like outlines that much sorry. I might make one with an outline but i feel constricted a bit by them

yeah i start out with an outline, just its of the basic color ill use for the thing im making...I then fill it in and change it up from there. Like in the first photo
