While we're on this topic I think some characters should be omitted from nicknames notably the following:

, =

Commas because that allows for silly fake names in showguild to deter attackers. If Era had West's "showmembers" command that returns the number of members online, commas would be okay.

Equals signs would prevent most html glitches like this. It'd only allow bold, underline, and italics I think since those don't require an equals sign.

Yeah, you can also somehow make it so when you go on trades and accept with someone, the persons name comes up and it's "You were hacked" in large font and coloured font. Something to do with their name.
