advice for an incoming freshman?

When I went into high school, all I did was study. I wasn't there to make friends, and if someone wanted to be friends with me, that was fine. School is a place for studying, and when I went to HS, all I saw were ear buds, phones, make up, and those obnoxious Bluetooth speakers on desks instead of papers.

That's why I studied really hard and went to college instead of becoming a Junior.

I'm pretty much done all the AP courses I could do after this year except Calc.
Don't know what to do as a Junior now...

You could always try and go for a scholarship.

Try to get honors, AP, or IB, you'll be smarter than the rest and lots of colleges would love to have you.

Anyways still looking forward for PSAT and SAT.
Also need plenty of service hours... We'll see.

-Get involved. Go to dances and sporting events. If your on the fence about anything whether it be trying out for a sport or joining a club, just do it. It's better to try and quit then not try and regret.
-Be nice to everyone until they give you a reason not to. Dont try to stay glued to friends from middle school. Friends come and go everyday of highschool.
-Only carry the necessities: 2-4 writing utensils, paper, a binder maybe a few notebooks etc.
-Have fun. Might sound cliché, but highschool really does fly by. Before you know it you'll be walking the stage and moving on to bigger things.
