They're just gonna give the awards to crappy pop or dubstep or rap artists like every year, not gonna be a single real rock artist/song/album. Gimme a break.

It's not genre or type its just whatever is the most popular a.k.a the watered down lowest common denominator crap that boosts views. It's just whatever music that sells so they can give awards to whoever will make them bank, simple economics. Giving awards to talented people who deserve recognition, nah lets abandon dignity and just pander to the consumer who makes us money. It's rare that someone who actually knows what their doing rather than knows how to use auto tune gets awarded. Thus, I ignore award shows. (Kinda long I know)
