Mashing buttons makes little difference and just uses up your drill faster. Anyone can get a rock with 4 taps if they wait the right time between taps. Insanely high levels just have to wait less time between taps. And yes Trav, at level 100 you are supposed to get a rock at around 0.3 seconds but the game limits you to around 1.5 seconds per rock. I am speaking from personal experience having reached level 106, not opinion like many others.
