Just refrain from complaining. It won't do anything. This game is called "Graal Era". Era is a period of time. In this time, a world with different types of players. There are buildings, communities, trading, killing, rewards, Christmas, Halloween and etc. There are so much going on. Why can't we include the news? Without news you won't know what's really happening. Without knowing new stuff, would be ignorance. Without news, you're way below other players' knowledge. Would you know who got hired this month? Would you know updates in game? Would you know what the Ion Building is going to be? Would you know the current status of this and this and that? There a lot of people who are misinformed in general. The news is like the most important thing. In general, we have news right? What's going on in your country? the election, the status of your place, the upcoming storms. Guaranteed you would care about these. News is very important. Unless it's bias. Overall, it's to inform you. Hope I cleared everything up.

Its worth a try id say, after all i spend my money on this game and as a customer i have every right to complain, and let me just say that i seldom do complain. I agree with the rest however, all im saying is it wont be worth the time as not much people will view it anymore.

The admins are pretty crap, guaranteed if you ask a Pr a question that takes some thinking they won't reply. How long has country side been in development like 3 years or something? Great job admins take your time we love waiting.

Yes but its getting more difficult to browse my inventory year by year. Eventually it will take way to long for me to find items (assuming i dont know the name) and im the kind of person that liked cleaning things up and keeping it simple. At least we seem to be in agreement on the second part.

Why are you all hating on Mr. Serious for pointing out the facts? Seems like a bunch of crap to me. He, as a player, knows nothing about the technical aspects of the newspapers besides that it is or was routinely created and added when new additions came out, so why pile up on him for information that I guarantee at least 1/2 of the iEra community doesn't know either? He isn't wrong, either. The papers have gone to crap, the works in it appeal to little kids, albeit the game is what, 12 and up?

So quick to defend those who are seemingly at a higher position? (Just because they* do the newspaper.) Is this man not allowed to critique any form of work done? I believe that they should keep the newspaper reading animation as a new action or make it a novelty item. Last time I've read that, I tried to feel happy for an imaginary noob who got a 50 kill streak with an AK47.

When i first was planning the newspaper, it was originally going to be a PDF format file or some sort of image based "newspaper"
It was going to graphically look like a newspaper instead of an awkward menu/gui based system that it turned out to be. I think the paper was made worse by it's buggy implementation (ie; missing issues ect.)

There's room for a good graal/era "e-zine" or a proper monthly community magazine. Having it as a weekly paper was probably a mistake as well as it reduces the quality of the paper because people have to rush to fill the content- as you can see with the current format it's basically the same every week with different players being interviewed and slightly different content.

There are no editorials or feature articles or anything exciting or flasy to keep people interested. When it started it was going to be run by myself and volunteers but the way it was implementented sort of made that more difficult because you need access to various scripts and the FTP i believe. Ideally - a good quality magazine/paper/publication would be distributed through the forums or an entity not handled through the game itself- possibly a link in the menu that when pressed downloads the latest issue to your device as a PDF file - something like that.

Actually, The news is what got me to know the players better, I love reading the Era news, yes it does need its upgrades in appearance, advertisement, and the content, but I get the jist of what I'm supposed to keep up with, still a very great idea to implement, and would be far better if it was back in the game with the required scripters to keep it running.

The 100th Edition is pretty much a special newspaper since it's "100th". So its release would take longer than usual.
