The guns themselves aren't the thing thats op it's just the explosive radius and the fact that when you have multiple guns doing it then it ruins the flow of basing.
Same thing happened with the minigun.
I'd also just like to point out I had nothing todo with the chem being added, and i've always been annoyed at the fact that an explosive gun was added with the current firerate it has, simply due to the explosion radius and that you don't even have to hit the person directly to damage them.
It's like the renegade blade. Is it OP against other melees? Sure. Will it get nerfed? No. Why? Because less than 10-15 people will ever have it (if that even, i'd say closer to 8 people) and therefore it isn't a problem when it's only 8/5000 active players.
If the chem gun on release was limited to the first 10 people who buy it and then nobody else could then the gun would probably even be buffed from what it currently is. But it isn't, and at this point i'd say closer to 40-50~ people have it/ are close to it, maybe even more.
