I'm pretty sure USP45 needs a buff, not a nerf mate. The clip is literally 10. and the freeze isn't even that good
This reminds me of Cloyds big nerf week.
I been feeling like the man lately.
It takes no skill as just like ol'west, waiting for a long reload and getting shots off literally takes no skill, just timing.
Whoever mentioned the "people just sit at start" is right, only about 1-5% of the server online is actually sparring, you should see how many people afk at start, and I believe those players (by how they act) are in the age range of 6-12.
I haven't seen a single complaint about overpowered guns except for the Chem threads, which you took out, which fixed the problem. There isn't a problem in spar or basing anymore, as Chemical was the only excuse you used to take it away from basing (which you claimed would make basing more fair, and it did)
And no, I'm not protecting carbine, as you're actually making the firerate faster, just the insanely long reloads on all the guns is silly, the guns were originally put into the game to follow the same format of low reload speeds etc.. and you're pretty much changing the entire concept of weapons when there is no reason to
All this will do is suck money from the server and cut newer players slack from doing jobs like digging in which a lot of older players had to do. The fun of being new is grinding to get better guns. If there was actually competitive newer players they would be willing to grind for Gralats or shell out some money to get better guns. Instead of nerfing guns to bring people out of the start I think you should come up with more creative options. Such as maybe an hour limited spar or something for newer players to spar in to get better. I just don't see how nerfing good guns that people were willing to buy when others aren't will make this better.
Yeah, I would love to spend my years grinding for new guns in GraalEra. That's what having new players not even playing the game for a week. The game is so difficult in obtaining money through jobs that it isn't funny. How is grinding for straight days or even a week on a job in Graalonline Era just to get a better gun fun. It's just repetitive and makes the player bored. So what happens next, they leave and go play another game. Or better yet, just spend on iTunes.
Okay, so just saw this as I haven't been on forums in a few days. What I say take with a grain of salt
All i can say is... good.
So I've been basing my entire graal career. As a result I've seen the basing scene change drastically, from where any help was welcomed from any gun, starter or not, to BAR being the status quo, so on and so forth. As someone who only has the m4 (saving for bar just like every other noob :P) i can say basing is incredibly painful right now. Everyone has the best guns in the game, and you can't truly fight against them. So what I'm saying is that this is needed.
Of course, those who have these guns are justifiably worried. They bought these guns BECAUSE they were good, and nerfs/changes to them, regardless of how big or little, could make them not be good anymore, and that's perfectly understandable. What I have to say to this: think of guns in tiers. Here's my very rough opinion of what these tiers look like. Make your own with the guns i missed XD
High tier consists of:
BAR, P2Ks, M107(?)(sorry idk the name of this one for sure, as i dont have enough kills to look at it XD The gun is long af and deals roughly the same damage (maybe more, i think its 12 but idk)), gas launcher (if you're wondering why this is here then go attack pz. You can hold the base from god himself with gas launchers there)
Mid tier:
M4 and down reasonably. Ghost m4(?)(i dont see people use it in bases, so I don't know where this one lies), minigun (its good for attacking flag and gun walls, not much else)
Low tier:
Ak-47 and down. Basically all starter weapons.
Of course, high tiers are supposed to be high tiers. They cost more, you have to work more, and the guns should reflect how hard you had to work (or how much irl money you spent :P). But if high tier is too high, to the point that mid tier can't compete against them at all (without lag or they're just really bad), then thats a problem.
I'm glad that he specifically said that the gun hierarchy isn't going to change. That would be incredibly disrespectful to all the players who bought the "best gun" and then it gets nerfed into the ground and is now unusable. But this needs to happen.
TLDR: From the perspective of someone who doesn't have these guns but the "next best thing," the guns need to be nerfed to balance the whole gun scene. If you can't combat them without having them, then they shouldn't be that strong. Making them still better than other guns but allows other guns to combat them (say instead of these guns winning 10/10 sets no problem to 8/10 or 7/10 and it took more effort).
Yeah Sam, I stated that you're not showing bias.
