Heya guys,

As the tittle explains it already, I'd like to know what you guys would wish to see happen on iEra for 2017.
Please, make constructive, senseful posts, posts such as "better admins", "fix the server", immature posts and so on will be ignored.

The point of this thread is to get you guys opinion of what you think would be good to be added in iEra.
Don't be scared and get your keyboards out, time to show what your creativity can come up with !

Possible Updates :

-Melee spar (could be discussed with BitzSam)
-Menu rework (items buy GUI)
-New Jobs, shops, digging places
-Make trade tables better, less easy to block
-Yearly competitive event
-Renovate casino, police station
-Use Comic Club more often
-More animals breeds/more animals
-Era clock (Could be based on the actual servertime)
-showping chat command
-Expand ghouses, houses
-Forum icon in menu
-Drawable canvas
-Colorblind option

Possible but may take time :

-Daily quests
-Daily reward for completing x task
-Add in new language support
-New events
-House parties
-More informations showing on profile (jobs, auctions won etc..)
-Top 10 jobs
-Purchasable music
-More complete tutorial for newcomers
-Level system for jobs (like mining I guess ?)
-Ability to adopt childrens (that's uuuh weird, really. Could have in profile instead "Adopted by: Esmeree". This suggestion is between possible update and probably won't happen, needs to be talked about)
-Ability to have your pet following you around
-Functioning fridge
-Player bounties (could set them like in GTA V ?)

Things that are most likely not going to happen :

-Body armor (HW shield, umbrellas, sabers are already there for it)
-Friend requests (this involves touching some core script - could be looked at though ?)
-Tradeable hats (same for guns, this will never be a thing)
-Global chat (it was already implemented then got removed, didn't turn out as expected)
-Add casino games to casino (gambling is illegal to be advertised in game)
-Tile Editor for players (that's a staff tool, not a player tool)
-Public theatre (lag protection makes theatre rendering bad, can't see really far)
-Status codes (this has been discussed hundred of times already)
-Small icon below map showing online staffs (there's a reason the chat command "showadmins" has been removed)
-Bus transport (was already mentioned, faster walking than taking the bus)
-Ability to follow a player by tapping follow button (that could be used to harass or such)
-Buy melees from other players (there's trade tables for that)
-Buy houses on gmap in auctions (I disapproved this idea)
-Add phones to bases (What's the use of this ? And we're in iEra, not Era)

/!\Side note/!\: Anything that involves Auctions won't be taken in consideration in this thread. The reason being I've already been working on Auctions.
Also, if you don't see your idea listed, could mean that the idea has already been thought about and/or has been thought about but got suspended and/or deleted.

I can tell you that some of them are being worked on. Bear in mind quite a few of the requests require a large amount of scripting which era greatly lacks people to do.

redesign speedy pizza, take off the tables&ovens that's far from the ingredients, they rarely get used, add more floors, add a time duration as to when another player can take your table like if youre still using it, the time duration for you to make another pizza after placing one in an oven for example is 5 sec, for another player to take your table it should be 10sec, this way it could prevent stealing tables, because I noticed while making pizzas I have to switch from tables to tables because of people stealing spots, making it necessary for me to steal other people's spot as well..

Player auction menu, lets players auction their rare items (furniture/vip/melees/hats/collectibles) for gralats, this way the gralat prices of rare items goes up, unlike in trade tables where they depreciate when converted and sold in tro, a player could post what he wants to sell in this menu with a fee and with a time limit ,and set a starting price and then let other players bid, when it reached the amount he wants to sell it for, he then clicks accept and the transaction is complete.Because why not? not all people are into trochus, some are more into gralats, and not all people are into just rare melees and plushies, we want to obtain rare hats/furnitures/collectibles as well besides old players are usually tired of their old stuff as well, new players seeing old stuff in this auction menu, would then like to buy it, but they're broke, this then makes them work harder or buy more itunes as thr items are expensive. idk

I agree with this. I too have been a victim of table stealing. It hurts me feelers ;_;
But in all seriousness, not many people who actually make most of their money making pizzas use the spots an oven away from the ingredients. They all use the 6 directly next to the ingredients as it allows you to make pizzas faster. Adding more floors or somehong would be a major help.

Oh, idk why I'm just thinking about this. Can you add a search function to trade tables inventory? Like when you're on a trade table, and are searching what to add, the menu is incredibly obnoxious. You try to scroll a tad bit wrong, and it goes zooming through your inventory. Adding a search function like in your normal inventory would be a godsend.

I've just realized that there's a thread about this.

A thing I loved about Ol' West was the farming system on the house, at least when I used to play that game, it was very nice to build your own farm and plant your own seeds. It would be nice if it could be introduced with a level system.

Talking about level systems, I think that iEra would be a lot more fun if every job could have level systems, this would change a bit the economy, making it more easy to purchase in-game items if you are a experienced player that dedicate time into the jobs.
