I would actually think this nerf benefits the veteran players more than the newer players, as veteran players have had time to get proficient at dodging bullets; and hence would be good with any gun.
Before the nerf, the overpowered BAR gave newer players a handicap to help bridge their skill deficiency (dodging bullets and timing shots).
Now that the BAR has been nerfed, they no longer have the option of letting their wallet fight for them.
I could be missing something -- but it seems to me like newer players are more disadvantaged now; as they have lost the option to purchase a handicap.
If somebody could clear up for me how veteran players are 'weakened' by this change, so I can get an understanding of your perspective? =D
