Yea no. First of all the m107 doesn't have a suppressor, suppressor being the correct term, no such thing as a "silencer". Second of all the m107 is horrible in CQB(Close Quarter Battle) scenarios due to its overly long barrel, so if somebody rushes you you're screwed. Third, yes the ability to shoot over very thick walls can be considered "cheap" to some people, but the rifle isn't really good for anything but that (in my opinion). This is the same as the good old pbp argument, yes it does 16 damage when all the bullets hit (in perfect condition) but it's dreadfully slow and pretty much useless at any longer distances; as well as being fairly easy to dodge. My point is the rifle serves a very niche purpose, just like the pbp. Though one might argue the pbp is more "utilitarian" but that's beside the point.
