Fair and Better Era, For All.

Hello, dear graalians, snk,
I'd like now to get your attention on something quote important, in my personal opinion, however, what made me leave this thread, is the amount of follows my ideas got..it's time for a change..for too long have we suffered from totally inconvenient, illogical and unfair era. For those, who would find this a bit confusing a little introduction: some time ago there have been released two new auction items: rainbow Mattel and magma axe. Both arent able to be dropped.. Now, I do agree about the axe, since bloody axe isn't droppable, however..rainbow Mattel...is a fatal combination of hammer and Excalibur gani's..I'd like to refer to the fact that all auction hammers so far have been made droppable..I do not understand how come rainbow Mattel is so "special"? I suggest making it droppable, as otherwise, this makes absolutely no sense..not sure how this threading system works, but, if any of my followers..or those..who are tired of unfair era..or those..who simply do not wish to be on my place further on..get to read this..comment..like..post a back-up thread, any would do, once again, not sure how this system works here...thank you for your attention, fellow graalians. Oh and what does the rainbow mattel do and/or look like? This is the first I've heard of it.

I agree that it should be droppable because other wise it is a waste of money. One of my friends won an auction for it and didn't know it wasn't droppable and he greatly regretted it.

Auctions are stupid then. In a auction you should buy something that you want, not some stupid trading item. This is why era is becoming worse, all people seem to care about is trading. Trading was a bad update and has done very little good. Having an un droppable item is unfair? Well boohoo.

Undroppable items have good reputations too.

Yes, indeed. Unfair. Why are nearly all auction melee's droppable, including all kind of hammers, and Mattel isn't? This isn't about what you believe. It's about: wish to make droppable hammers? Well, then let them all be droppable. This way. And no other way. A perfect exposé could be "favoritism". Why do certain people(items, in this case) shall be "special attention". Let us stand for the equality of auction items.

Items don't have bloody feelings so how could they care about favouritism. You don't like it because it is not droppable? Fine, deal with it and buy something that is droppable. Not everything can be to your standard.

If you don't want to see his posts, block him, arguing makes it worse.

As for the droppable items, I don't know why there are some droppable and some undroppable besides holiday items (which I think shouldn't be droppable as those are limited-time items). Either items should all be droppable or none should be droppable, because then there is this argument or debate on what should be droppable. In my opinion no items should have been droppable because thy should be earned, but hey since things are droppable it can't be changed otherwise people will complain more.

I guess auctioned items are auction because it's the rules? If guns were tradable...I'll quit era.
Pointless melees shouldn't be droppable or tradable. All those starter melees sold for noobs are meant for them to be kept at and use cause they can't own a strong weapon. Same goes for specific items.

Just block him if you don't want to see his posts there is an option for that, no one is "banned" from threads. Seeing how this thread is going off-topic, I can see it being closed soon. So stay on topic, no more arguing >_<

If items are already made to be droppable/undroppable there isn't a high rate of being changed to the other side. The only auction item I've seen changed to being droppable was the chainsaw.

I like this idea. I honestly think that Auction items should be tradable. Auctions aren't fair as a trade system is. The trade system gives everyone a chance. It also gives the server an Economy. Which, in all, has added more than 5 functions to the game. Economy, Trading, Importance to the Shelling Industry, A Chance to Support New Players, and some others.

Idk what Greg's issue is with droppable auction items, besides his personal philosophy of "If you got it, you should like it" (which isn't very widely accepted or favored from what I've seen), but droppable items and trading has been highly beneficial to the game, and eventually gave it more purpose. Being able to drop this item, and many others (excluding any EC items) will be beneficial to the game, the publisher's pockets, and our enjoyment of the game (excluding Greg's).

My issue is with people who go to auctions thinking of buying an item to trade. Other people want to win auctions to actually have the item and give it use instead of it being lost in circle of trading. So basically I think that auction items should not be droppable/tradable to allow people to actually have items that they want.

You may get items you so desire via trading instead of waiting for that particular item to appear on auctions, and have a low chance of winning.

For ridiculously high prices. Some people have nothing to trade so would need to spend forever digging but as traders are aiming for profits, they charge more than the auction price so people get ripped off. The reason the chance is so low is that traders will try and buy everything instead of what they want. If that didn't happen then more people would have items that they wanted and for lower prices.

You make no sense. No matter what the price is, you may never see the item you want so bad on auctions no longer. Trading is the only way to get it, in that case. Trading, is what people do all around the world. I had enough. Say whatever you wish.

Not necessarily true. I've been wanting to get my hands on a purple umbrella for the longest time. Haven't won auctions when I had the money, and no one will trade it. Want to know why this is? Because they bought it to actually use it and keep it ;)

However I used my chainsaw a lot when I won it from auctions. But because of some sort of hit registration whenever I used it to kill crabs someone would use a lower damaging weapon and make my chainsaw do that much damage on the crab. Got tired of that so I never used it again, then they were made tradeable/droppable and I decided to trade it with someone who would use it. I didn't get much out of it - the chancla was the best deal I could get, and ever since I've been using that (and it's quite fun :D).

So technically there are ups and downs of making things droppable/tradeable when you look at it from different views.

There are no downs in making them tradable. No one wishes to trade purple because it's nearly an ultra rare. In order to get that, you shall offer really really really good. You just made no sense again. Surprised I'm replying to this non-sense again..of umbrella wouldn't have been droppable and you had enough things to get it...you wouldn't have it it by far..because they won't ever auction it again. Enough said.

You don't have to be rude about it, I'm just stating my opinion. And yes, there are downsides to tradeable items. Players get scammed all the time becuase items are droppable. People overprice items than they actually should be. Do not bash on other peoples opinions/ideas just because you don't think it's right. Everyone has their view on things.

They overprice, because some items wouldn't be auctioned no longer. You want something? You better pay well for it, if there's no other way around in getting it. No matter how the price is high, if the weren't droppable you wouldn't have gotten it at all, if they stopped auctioning them. People get scammed because are too dumb. That's a different story. You have a choice: whether to trust or not. You weren't forced to be scammed. I consider your opinion. But it's wrong. It's not about me disagreeing. It's about being logical. We are currently speaking of rainbow mallet. If you have got a problem with it being droppable as an item in whole: state it. I stated mine against in the main thread. And my facts are quite wieghty. Try to come up with some logical arguments, please. Thank you.

You are so arrogant. You cannot say that someone's opinion is wrong because it is not your own. If you can't see any downsides then that is your problem but it doesn't mean that there are none.
