Maybe new guns could be made one of each type (sniper, shotgun, rifle, pistol, etc.) and they should be priced around 50k. The guns themselves should be decent naked but getting them attachments could affect it statisticly with a few exceptions such as suppressors. The shop(if made) should be a gun factory and the guns are fresh so no attachments. All of them have spread even the snipers(which are just bolt actions). The attachments should be priced according to their purpose like a scope is more expensive then a laser. Each gun should have different amount of attachments based on their size and the type of gun it is. An example a pistol should have 3 slots and a rifle could have 4 or 5. Maybe an attachment that gives 2 more slots really one because of the one it takes up. People would be creating all sorts of things. Hopefully using a gun customized to be like his/hers play style. Like a defensive pistol or a crowd control shottie. Also we should be able to buy the same gun twice but NOT keep the attachments.
Here is a list of some attachments:
Sights-will affect the spread (maybe different affects on different types guns)
Iron sights-original spread
Close range sights(Red dot)-increase accuracy slightly
Medium Range sights(Acog)-increase accuracy even more
Long Range Scopes(Some kind of sniper scope)-Completely accurate
Barrel Attachments
Suppressor-purely cosmetic (Love me some suppressors <3)
Bayonet-attachable melee
Heavy barrel-add one damage
Longer barrel-increase barrel size
Sawed Off-Shorten your barrel for what ever reason
Under Barrel Attachments
Grenade Launcher- Shoots a frag
Gas launcher-similar to ec one but a lot slower firing and no explosion
Bipod-prone ability which extends barrel, sacraficies movement
Under Barrel shotgun-its a shotgun under your gun
Grips(angled, fore)-decreases freeze
Side Rail Attachments
Laser-cosmetic(color choices)
Flashlight-more cosmetic(color choices)
Clips
Extended-more in one clip, longer reload
Drum/Box Mags-more ammo=longer reload
Quick reload mag- same ammo but quicker
Ammo
Poison bullets-poison but for less damage
Incendiery-less direct damage but more damage over time
Explosive rounds-again less damage for explosions (although i think maybe -2 damage just because of the fire after)
Fmj-+1 damage
Slugs(shotguns only)-one strong bullet
Buck Shot(shotguns only)-bunch of little bullets
Misc. Attachments
Select Fire-burst,auto,semi
Duel Wield-pistols only
Knife out-Have a knife out instead of being able to duel wield
Straight pull-(Bolt actions only)increase fire rate
Stocks-reduce freeze or spread, either or
Lighter Material (as said before)-decrease freeze
Riot Shield-(only for smaller weapons) takes 1 damage from enemy bullets
Thats all for now. If implemented it would be cool to see what everyone goes with, and to have guns that I would choose how it plays out.
