Thread: READ- Weapon Rebalancing

  1. #591
Sorry if I am away of this thread but you all forget something. Someone said that a glitch is fixing right? How about fixing the glitch which a player kills a player inside the buidling after damaging him a bit with explosive weapons?

Something needs rebalancing. If you let the community continue on with the unchanged weapons then then the game's fairness will be upset because it will be impossible to survive and to many things such as sparring. It's not going to be fair for those new players who'll get their stats ruined when they first join.

The community will only be left with that minority of pros and the others will see their stats being destroyed again and again. It's going to be very unfair and players will start quitting because they'll be discouraged from doing anything like streaking etc.

The money u paid is for the weapon, not to stop any further changes. It's a game with changing inequalities and when the game gets too unfair, the admins need to do something to reduce this inequality.

You don't see this now, and if the guns aren't modified, in the future Therr will be even more issues like unfair gameplay etc and all these carry with them even severe consequences.

If you cant comply with the game policies, then don't play. It's simple as that.

Things just don't get into your head, do they? This topic needs more maturity for discussion to proceed, or else it's not going anywhere.

Simple quit screwing with stuff and bring out better content then go back and buff/nurf something you screwed up on in the first place.

You say that as if the guns price ranges aren't from like 600-200,000 gralats. And as if someone won't be horrible when they first join a pvp game. And as if these same new players won't learn the exact same way our pros did and buy the same guns and other guns that fit their playstyle.

Players demand for quality content. As a consumer, it's understandable.

But in consuming, many have left failed to see its long term consequences, or are unknown that they are doing so at the expense of something else, something larger and something more important. Which in this case is the fairness of the game.

It's this fairness that makes this game a game. Or else it'll just be a platform for the few good paying players to discourage the weaker players . The player base will decrease if in a matter of time if it's like that and soon there will be so few players (if ever the admins let the unfairness go unchecked) that it cannot sustain the game. Its not going to benefit that few pro players in the end. See the consequences Now? That's why the rebalancing is so crucial.

Learn to compromise for a greater good. It's never easy, but it's sustainable. It's worth it.

What you are saying has nothing to do with guns really. If staff really care about everything being fair they would not have bad better best guns/melees/items or removed the quest to get $1500 for an AK so noobs could stand a small chance. All this rage is about the bar being nerfed and it should not of been touched as it's the most expensive gun make a more expensive gun and make it better if the bar was to op.

Since you brought up the issue of bar being nerfed, I'll tell you why it should be nerfed.

Firstly it's a common weapon that has good stats and when everyone has it, it makes the environment super competitive. Competition is good, but there's too much of it that it upsets the fairness of the game.

And as I said in my thread (https://www.era-go.com/forum/showthread.php?t=41819), it's how the players use it to make the gun appear "OP". So if the guns stats are not changed, a 10 minute player using iTunes can get a bar gun and start thrashing those who have spent 1000 hours on the game and with more kills. How is this going to be fair for the players?

If I spend 30 days digging everyday to get an m4 and someone else who started the game 2 minutes ago thrashed me with a bar gun, is it fair for me in terms of the effort? That's why the cashing method is going to upset the fairness of the game.

But its fair for any opposing opinions to not have a say in any way, ok. And hasn't the playercount been consistent for like the last few years, correct me if I'm wrong but it seem to have gone up and still stays strong. And why do you treat the new players like they're idiots and won't get better? No one started off with skill, and no matter how much money you have, you can't buy it. You talk down to them like they're just gonna always suck if the guns don't get nerfed, but how is that even logical when there's so many skilled players already? That's on the player if they want to get good, not the guns or money.

Answer your first question. 10 min player is not going to trash someone with 1000 hours. Next is pretty much the same answer but without players spending real money the severs would not get played for and there would be no grall era. As for the fairness cash is king as with any other game in the marketplace.

If you've been playing for 1000 hours and get beat by anyone that just started that day, you probably just suck, its not the gun.

Money doesn't give anyone skill, just like when you get that m4 regardless of what you did, you will still lose if you're not as good as a player
