I'd hate to say this and I completely understand your frustration but you need to look at the bigger picture. I'm not saying this in a insulting way but in order for the game to become better, it has to make some sacrifices, and sadly BAR is one of the sacrifices that was needed. But hey, on the bright side every single gun thats close to BAR's level have also been nerfed so BAR is still stronger than GM4, (maybe) P2K, etc.
That's just it. It's not making the game better. It's uncalled for and childish.

That alone makes a lot of people salty because people brought BAR because it was "Holy cow so op, wow amazing, wow i can rekt ppl, wow wow wow wow."

And you have a point about the veterans being able to polish their dodging skills but then again, now with these guns that are slightly slower the "newbies" will also have a better chance at learning the dodges and stuff, so its really beneficial to both sides. The issue I see here is that people are salty because their favorite weapon isn't as "glorious" as it used to be and they feel scammed of their money. Put it this way:
Bar (A): Fast Fire Rate, Low Freeze, 20 Clip, 200,000 price [Old]
Bar (B): Medium Fire Rate, Medium Freeze, 15 (or whatever the new clip size is) Clip, 200,000 price [New]
- What do you think the people would prefer?
They would definitely prefer A, since the stat for both the BARs is completely different yet their price remained the same.
Exactly my point very well put.
